Nice. The wife wants super bumps too... But only in the front. The rear has two pairs of bumpstops, and I don't think they will work out back.

Any local members running XM, worth it? Got this XM receiver from another member.

I tried adding the same receiver a couple months ago. All the connection are there but I couldn't get it to connect to the service. I read somewhere that some of the toyotas sold overseas only have the nav antennae in the shark fin and not the xm.

You should just skip Recon and try get safety inspection. I did. It worked[/QUOTE]

I think the bigger issue is recon over safety right? Or does the safety check require a recon sticker?

If you mod stuff, you technically need recon. some places might not catch it and pass the safety...other places that do not understand the rules fully might fail you up front unless you have recon.

Terrible in sand. Too aggressive and digs a large hole very quickly. Air way down is better. BFG AT/KOs are probably better.

I'm pretty sure there is no XM coverage in Hawaii and Alaska.

I didn't get mine for the sand, but I've never had an issue with 4wd. As an all around offroad tire they're awesome. Especially good tire on wet roads. I don't think you'll get an aggressive tire that meets all conditions with a perfect 10, but the Duratracs are probably one of the best all around tires imo.

Yeah, I heard that they don't want to launch a satellite just for Hawaii to have coverage. I don't know how true that is , though.
Sucks, though. All the entune features that you get with the JBL package don't work in Hawaii because it uses the satellite radio. IDK why servco doesn't disclose this before people drop over a grand on the premium audio packages.

My friend told me right before I bought mine that it doesn't work so I didn't even bother for tech package. Plus I don't like moon roofs.

I cancelled my subscription when I called XM to see if I had coverage. They explained to me that I would not receive service here in Hawaii. They said I didn't need to cancel, that they could lower the price. I then said, why would that matter if you can't provide service to me? Lastly, they were sad that I had to cancel my service and then offered me a deal on a home XM reciever. Once again we circled back to the no service provided to Hawaii. I swear these people are just reading from a manual and are asked to remove their common sense upon employment with XM.

My truck came with XM standard. I pulled the receiver out first thing to fit the alpine amp under the seat. And I gutted the antenna to run my wires to the roof lol
