Not bad! I tend to stay away from the TP and mogels. I just want to make sweet carves in fresh pow... lol

I usually do too, but my brother-in-law likes the TP's. So I have been hitting them a little bit.

That makes sense. I just feel it is an easy way to get hurt, and I am good enough doing that on my own. lol

I JUST REMEMBERED ITS RUNNER'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!!! One year ago I was sitting in a Jeep dealership dealing with a slimy salesman who knew nothing about him. Maybe that worked in my favor...once they realized I knew more about this vehicle than they did they stopped arguing with me on price and such....

It is amazing how little people know about the vehicles they sell. I was looking at an sr5 premium with 1500 miles at a local dealership. They wanted 42k and knew nothing about it other than it was worth that much. Been sitting for 6 months.

Well I just had an interesting trip to the Toyota dealership. Looks like CAFE is going to kill the sequoia. The really scary thing the salesperson told me is that if they don't sell enough Rav4 hybrids the 4runner may die too. Here's to hoping the rav4 hybrid is successful!

From the conversation it was all to do with corporate fuel economy. They will never stop selling the tacoma or tundra. The 4runner doesn't sell the units and the fuel mileage isn't good enough. We will see what happens.

Sadly the 4Runner has no appeal for the around the town mom. The highlander has taken that spot and the sequoia is giant and in its own class. I've tried to convince the wife to get a 5th generation but it's "too big" for her. I can understand but I always loved the 5th gems and planned on getting one later on.

Its mileage should be pretty close with the Tacoma. Also Toyota would be at a huge loss if they drop the 4Runner since its one of the last body on frame SUVs. They drop it they'll be handing the market and a lot of profit to Jeep. They could do a lot better things to solve their CAFE standards problem

That is what I was wondering. Would the 6th gen get the 3.5. Guess time will tell.
Exactly. The highlander can do what 90% of people who actually buy new 4runners need. There was a 70 year old couple test driving a limited...
Apparently fiat-chrysler is willing to pay the fine to keep the wrangler and big trucks around. Toyota won't pay the fine.

Yeah sadly the 4runner has been edged out by soccer mom mobiles. My wife wants the highlander because it has the 3rd row, but only children and little people can fit there. I did drive a hybrid highlander down south and it was so nice.

Of course Chrysler will. Why? Because they know keeping that stake in the body on frame SUV market. Its not a stake that would be good to lose
