Is someone not happy for passing up the Premium and Technology package?

No lol I specifically wanted one without the tech package because I needed the headroom and didn't care about the heated seats, sunroof ect. However the only thing I did want out of it which was the color matched bumper. I figure I'll see how much it is to order one from Toyota or just have a body shop paint mine.

There ya go! . Must admit, granted, the P/T is in some ways gross AND overkill, now that I have it, I've used numerous of the features, and like it. Life woulda been fine without, granted.

Oh I'm sure a lot of the features are nice and my boss (longtime girlfriend) would have loved the dual zone climates, heated seats but being 6'3 I felt way more comfortable without the sunroof. I would have probably regretted it if I would have gotten it.

Mine has the P&T with JBL but I wanted the chrome bumper. Not sure how I could make that transfer work with the sensors... I realize I'm the minority but think the Chrome bumper on white truck looks sharp.

Just purchased my first Tacoma, picked it up last night. What an amazing upgrade from 06 F150 FX4! Once I recover from rotator cuff surgery, looking forward to making a few more changes and mods. Very happy I decided on a new Tacoma versus a used Full Size truck.

Had it up in the mountains just a few days after purchasing. Love everything about this truck. It performed very well through the dirt, mud and snow. Looking forward to many more adventures with it!

Same here, I didn't want the tech package but the color matched bumper and sun roof were the two things I kinda wanted. The rear cross traffic, reverse sensors, dual climate control, and heated seats are nice too but here in Hawaii, I don't think the seat warmers and climate control are necessary lol. I'm super happy that I lucked out with the color matched though!

I'm still trying to figure that one out myself, all I know is that I told my dealer after the purchase was made and he was dumbfounded. Didn't even know it was supposed to be chrome. Shows you just how many TRD off-road versions they sell here...

What size tire are you running, 265/70/17 on a stock suspension? Reason I ask is I'm considering that same wheel and that particular setup for a DCLB

I am truly stoked to hear all you guys lovin these trucks! I definitely do after moving up from my 02 SR5 Extra cab 4x4. Loved that truck, but man, this thang is a peach with butterscotch chips! . And after all the whining, complaining, dissatisfaction, etc I read leading up to delivery day. Can't wait to hook the A frame Trailer to it and head across country.

Some things are definitely larger because of my truck....
Finally got to the point of taking some new pics, ordering options with your truck has been a nightmare for me, I wanted dealer installed Toyota options but ended up spending over two months dealing with the dealership to get Roof Rack, Security System, Undercover SE Tonneau Cover, Running Boards, Mud Guards and an exhaust tip... Still waiting on Tonneau, bought the Mud Guards from a tip from here (Tacomaworld.com) and a check for the remainder of my warranty on my trade in... I think the dealership thinks I am good to go and they dont owe me anything for the pain they have been but I have a itemized list I am going to post on Yelp so others know what I went through. They are not even answering their phones when I call... For what should have been the best truck purchase I have ever made I really regret the experience... I like the truck though.. I tried to get Limited Wheels in the package but the dealership did not want to work anything with me on it... looking for a set to pick up from here, let me know if you have some in the "Tacoma" WA area.truck.jpg truck2.jpg
