    Wife wants to look at Durango, Explorer, Highlander, 4Runner for her next car in a couple months. Any other cars in that class you guys can think of?

    She likes the look of the Durango. Looks nice...but to me...it's a Dodge.
    Her mom has the highest tier Explorer that we've drove a lot in the past. Twin turbo. Great cab. A lot of room problem is the gas tank is tiny and it gets worse mileage than my truck.
    Highlander is pretty much ranks #1 in any categories it is placed in. My only issue is it's 1 step away from a minivan.
    4Runner...I threw this one in the mix. She thinks it's too small.

    4Runner is bigger than the highlander. 4Runner has more space everywhere except the cargo agrea in the back by a few inches. 4Runner is definitely my next vehicle when that time comes.

    My buddy's wife has a Nissan pathfinder and likes it. They are pretty ugly, but for a larger suv it gets mid 20s mileage. I can't complain because I rode in it a few times and it is really nice inside.

    Nissan was ranked horrible across the board by Consumer Reviews. Except the Frontier. The Tacoma was ranked the worst.
