Got the truck, no issues yet, Love it, took the wife for a ride last night and she loved it too,
Very happy with the display, hands free phone, radio.
I went down the check list with the sales person and he told me he did not hear for half the things i was told to look for.
    Thank you all again,

    Mike

Mine should be in this week. Can you expand on the "Hood Glue Points" item to check? What is that one all about?

    thanks

The glue that hold's to hood skin to the brace was failing and the skin was flapping in the wind.
Just open the hood and you can see the glue points make sure they are not separating.

I have a 2016 DC TRD OR due in March. I too am concerned about auto trans fluid level. I talked with a Service Tech about how he does it and he knows how: truck cold, scan tool to read temp, etc. he said it takes 30 min to an hour to do properly and they won't do it unless the Sales dept pays for it. They always need at least 1 qt fluid to top off what leaks out if any. The dealership does not check fluids. What do picky people do? He also told me he had a customer 2 months ago with a 2016 exhibiting delay in locking up (engaging gear) when put in Drive, especially when cold. The truck had 1300 miles on it and was low on fluid. After consulting with Toyota they authorized a new transmission! It was installed. Now doing that work could create other problems if the quality of the repair is less than at factory. What a mess.
