    Hello Everyone,

I just thought I would pass along some info incase it helps anyone else.

My truck has the 9-way adjustable Rancho shocks (front & back), and rears were far too stiff for daily driving (even at it's softest "1" setting) making the rear of the truck very stiff/bouncy/rough. I searched online mostly saw comments that it was a truck and nothing would help and to just deal with it.

Well I went to Napa (my work has an account there) and picked up their cheapest rear shocks (Napa P/N# 94189 & 94190, basically repackaged Monroe shocks) and tossed them on. The difference is night and day! The truck finally rides like butter, nice and smooth and soft, like I figured these trucks should ride.

I just figured I would share my results in the event that it could help anyone browsing these forums.

    Thank you for your time.

I have the Rancho 9000 shocks too. Been happy with them. On your truck, it could have been time to replace them too.

Generally shocks become really soft/blown out when they wear out, but I suppose anything is possible.

I am pleased with the Rancho's on my front. I have them set to their softest setting "1" and have the front sway bar off for an extra soft, cushy ride.

I like firm, set at 6 in the front and 5 in the rear.
