I rewatched them and saw it finally, it's a high speed shake and not a slow one like I was expecting. I don't think it'd bother me much, but it's hard to say unless I had to live with it in person. I'm waiting to hear if the thicker gaskets do the trick.

I literally don't see any bouncing at all, just the sharp cutoff blasting on signs, walls, etc. That output looks great though!

Nothing has changed with the bulbs. We have a few testers out there being sent some sample grommets to see if they fix the issue. If they do, we'll get them into production immediately and sent out to those affected (not all).

That's the cutoff of all projectors. You don't see it with the halogen bulbs because they're so dim.

This one I do see a bit of shaking, but I'm not sure if that's actual bulb shaking or the camera trying to focus on the light on various surfaces. Regardless, if you've been offered a return label and full refund, there's not too much more we can do to rectify these issues for you personally.

Again for all others, we have a few testers out there being sent some sample grommets to see if they fix the issue. If they do, we'll get them into production immediately and sent out to those affected (not all).

Thanks Andrew, keep us posted. Sounds like you guys are doing the right things to get this possible issue fixed, which is much appreciated.

The shake is very high speed and I've only noticed it a few times in the videos. It's literally like 10-15 shakes per second, so very quick. But it only happened on a few bumps, not every time that I could see in the video.

I'll be putting the gopro mount to the test, and posting up results before and after.

Give me a few days as I'm working, and my truck is in the body shop this week.

There is a bounce, you can see it if you find the main projected light. I found it in the first video more than the 2nd.

I just installed the same 5500k in the fog lights and it lights up nice and wide but it don't seem to shake like the headlights

I just got my 5500K kit in today. I'll install it this weekend and see what I get.

I know what the "bounce" looks like, as I have the Lights and I've seen it maybe 2-3 times in 1600 miles, and I don't see it AT ALL in that video. When the trucks suspension is moving up and down, the cutoff of the lights is going to move....

It isn't the cutoff that bounces. There's a bright beam of light within the spread of light, it's a littler brighter than the spread, that bounces.

Cameras don't pick it up very well, but I've circled what I'm talking about. It's hard to see in the video, because again, cameras don't do a very accurate job of showing lights' brightness, but this is what shakes for me at least
    Untitled-1.jpg

ETA: It primarily shakes horizontally, not vertically

    Exactly.

I've shown women at work the video whom couldn't even tell you where the dipstick was in their car, and they could see the (bouncing orbs) as I like to call them.

Since I'm taking them out this weekend to send back, I've taken a much BETTER video, on a 5 mile stretch of bouncy (usual for my neck of the woods), dark, no house, no other traffic road.

Just me, my buddy, my truck and the bouncing orbs.

If you look at the video that I'll post by the end of the weekend (have to get it from my buddy) and still want to admit that these things don't bounce like a pogo stick, then hopefully your happy with what you have, as there are no 5500K bulbs that don't bounce if they all have the same gaskets. How can they not?

    Thanks

I recently installed my TRS Morimoto HID kit and took it for a drive tonight for the first time and I see what you guys are talking about with the shake but I do not have a large enough amount of it to be utterly disappointed like some on here. Would I like it to not bounce at all? Absolutely. It appears my right bulb is worst than the left which kind of makes sense because the left bulb feels snugger than the right. I'd definitely like to get a fix if/when one does come out otherwise life will go on and I'll barely notice it.

Hmm.. I was going to install my kit this afternoon but opted to just install my step bars instead. I may wait until the testing ends to see what the resolution is.
