In my opinion 265's look small on these trucks. That reminds me I have to get the "Mall Rated" sticker on my truck.

Got my TRD beadlocks on the way and have Discount Tire ordering me some 265/75/16 BFG KO2's. I think I'm just going to stay around a 2" lift.

@Taco gator just checked out your truck - nice PreRunner build man. I have been going back and forth b/w a spindle lift or a conventional lift on mine - if you went back and did it again, would you do spindles again or go conventional?

Also, your 265s look really good on that amount of lift, which actually surprised me - I thought they would look tiny.

Here is mine on 265/75/16's, with a 3" lift. Personally proud that I went 265's, and I will never go to 285's the 265's are all I need.2222222222222222222222222222222222.jpg

    bigger tires are looking good.

i am amazed you haven't ripped the front guards off with the 285s. i had to take the fronts off with the 265s due to rubbing, especially in reverse.

I took my guards off just to show more tire and give the appearance of more ground clearance. Truck looks good, TRDrh.

I do rub in reverse a little bit, and on certain turns. I'll remove them soon because the rubbing gets annoying.

Sorry, just now seeing this post. Yea I would do spindles again but I wouldn't get wheels with -24 offset again haha, the spindles push the front wheels out .75" so it adds more offset which created more rubbing. So that's something to think about, but as far as lifts for prerunner, spindles are the BEST. It keeps stock geometry so it's like driving on stock suspension and it's really easy to add more lift if you want to. I have 5100s on top of the spindles so it's like having a stock truck with 5100s, rides pretty great.

Looks good. I'm maybe in the market for these tires again since 255s are incredibly hard to find around me for some reason. Are you running wheel spacers at all?

Kind of off topic, but what brand are your current wheels and are you going to sell them?
