    Over the last 15 years, my wife has really embraced the food culture of my Swedish heritage. While organizing some of our digital photo collection, I found this:

    Saffron buns! She made these at Christmas...nailed it. If you want some yuks, go figure out how much saffron costs.

    Lasagna comes to mind.


    Sauces - Thai green curry, spaghetti, etc

    Sauces/stews that You could just easily add something quick to make a full meal (just steam rice, or boil pasta)

    Used to also pre-prep the common ingredients (and keep in zip lock or tipper wear in the fridge) diced red onion, green onion, green pepper, ham chunks, etc. for quick add-one to certain dishes.

    Makes it easier to make an omelette or something when everything is already prepped to cook.

    Gonna have to vehemently disagree with you here, sir

    I've got a couple of his books (well done too, easy to make and good info) and he's funny as shit on Twatter. However, I pretty much don't watch TV cooking shows any more, so I don't have a read on those that he might be in.

    Pinterest is your friend. Lots of recipes/meal plans for cook once, eat for 2 weeks....that sort of thing.
    I don't really have the freezer space for those but I do like to make and freeze pasta sauces in individual portions, grill up a bunch of chicken then dice and freeze later I can add to salads, sammiches, wraps, etc. I always have browned hamburger in the freezer.
    Tip: if you are freezing veggies leave them a little undercooked, they won't be complete mush once reheated.
