Here's what I think should be included in 2017 as some improvements

    1. Power adjusted front seats
    2. Tow/Haul mode
    3. Full up/down rear window, just like the Tundra Crew Max, the Sequoia and the 4Runner
    4. Rear a/c vents on upper level DC trims, it's in the Crew Max.
    5. Rear seat retractable arm rest, just like in other Toyota vehicles

And you realize your Tacoma would cost just as much as that X5 possibly more with all the shit you want. Maybe you should of cut the rear section off your x5 to make it more like a pickup truck

I thought about cutting it off.. but then I would have to extend it somehow to fit the sport bikes in the back.

Nice bike, love that look. Looks like a street fighter/naked bike. Can't stand bikes with a bunch of fairings on it.

The ECT power is basically a tow/haul mode. Just with a different name.

Why not trailer it? Or a full size pickup loaded

I did for a while, but I have no place to store a trailer and I got tired of having to get one from Uhaul all the time. The Tacoma makes it more convenient and just made sense for what I needed.

Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
Offer rear gear ratio for the 6 speed model so that you're not at 2,500 RPMs at 65 MPH. That's ridiculous. My 2013 was that way, and they are still that way on the 2016 models with a manual 6 speed...

    Make a TRD Truck edition:
    Manual hubs
    Manual t-case shifter
6 speed manual (no auto available ;) )
    lower gearing on reverse
    manual windows
option for no carpets - just rubber on floor
    mud flaps
    real skid plates
    steel or aluminum bumpers
less aggressive hood so you can actually see what's in front or you
real off--road tires from factory (your choice as an option)
reposition the low hanging exhaust crossover at the t- case

^^^ I'd buy one today if they offered it. But like Porsche and other exotics, Toyota would charge a whole lot more for including less.

A real truck bed made of METAL, not plastic. If the plastic beds are soooo great why doesn't any other truck use it?

    I would like to see:
    1. electric adjustable seats
    2. Bed that allows plywood to placed with out wheel wells getting the way (some trucks have this)
    3. In bed lockable trunk
    4. Rear seat Ac vents

    I have two questions:
    1. whats the estimated release date for the 2017
    2. whats models have rear AC vents for the crew cab?

I can't answer the first question, but the Tundra Crewmax, Dodge Ram Mega-cab, first generation Tundra double cab, no other midsize except for new Ridgeline, Those 4 I'm 100% sure, but the any other brands maybe.

    Oh and thanks @Johnny919

I agree it should be metal, however plastics tech has come a long way and Toyota is betting it's worth a risk.

Would you say the same thing if the bed was made of Carbon fiber? I know that would be ridiculous expensive but the cost of carbon manufacturing is also dropping and we could see that one day.

I imagine using the plastic bed is a way to reduce weight and improve MPG.

I'm with some others here. If they had a power rear window like the Tundra I'd trade in my 2015 in a heartbeat.
