I'll go ahead and throw my 2 cents into the fire. First off some aftermarket wheels simply don't balance worth a toot. Steering rack bushings are a possibility though not as likely when it's only at a certain speed. In my personal experience with a Tundra and a Ford Ranger when it shakes at a certain speed it was almost always ball joints or wheel bearings. When it was ball joints it would also make noise when turning or going over speed bumps at low speeds. Bearing would get worse when turning one way or the other depending on which bearing was bad while at highway speeds. Both would shake at around 65 mph. Played the steering rack bushing game on the tundra and two weeks later the lower ball joint on the drivers side blew out. Therefore I'd say check your ball joints and your bearings first before spending any money on it.

I went to the MS2's in May 2015 and still have the shake intermittently.

Took my tire off and measured: 4mm difference between my wheel hub and the center hole on the rim. 109mm - 105 mm. Guess I'll order some of those spacers and give them a shot.

Hub-centric spacers are actually about as necessary for aftermarket wheels as lugnuts are. Keep the proper fitment for your wheels and you'll be driving happy for a good long time.

For $79 I sure hope it fixes the issue.

They're the 18" that came stock with the truck.

Was on the highway today and had the same problem again. I'm thinking about taking a video and going to see the dealership. Does anyone know if the dealership would be responsible for correcting the problem outside of the 36 month, 36k mile warranty?

Google for a good local shop in your area, that specializes in suspensions and front ends. You don't want a nose picker in a dealership monkey suit to figure it out. Other option complain to Toyota Corp office, you paid them but they didn't fix your problem.

Lots of people. IF your wheels are Lug Centric then you will need hub centric adapter rings to make them fit properly on any vehicle that is hub centric.

I have the same problem...I think. My steering wheel has a shake at about 45 to 55 mph. However, when I grab the steering wheel tightly, it cannot be felt. Weird.... As a matter of interest, the shake was there with my STOCK rims and tires and with my aftermarket. It is NOT the same sensation you get with a wheel weight that has bailed or anything else I have encountered. It is NOT always there, sometimes it is only a momentary thing, sometimes all day.....cold, hot, total hit and miss.
My entire front end has been gone over with zero faults found. Weirdest thing ever.....

I had the same exact thing. I recently went to the best shop around for balancing & alignments. I have yet to have any wheel shake since the balance.

I have factory rims. I found a tire shop that can do a road force balance on them so I am going to give it a shot this week.
