Drove from San Jose to Oakland. Averaged around 65-75mph. Then I headed over the Bay Bridge and got stuck in SF traffic and by the time I got to my destination in the city my MPG's dropped to around 21mpg!

Nice! You my friend must be a mellow driver.

I've only managed to get almost 22...but not quite. I get too fed up with Bay Area douchery on the road and resort back to my move it or lose it mentality.

Nice. I got 20.5 MPG and went over the bay bridge today. My drive was from Sacramento to SF and back - about 215 miles. 20.4 MPG at 65-77 MPH (wind and some rain) - 50% with cruise on which isn't as good for MPG. If I had kept it around 70, I bet I could have squeezed out 21 MPG. Mine is a 4x4 Off Road DCSB with BFG A/T KO2 265/70/17 Load C tires. I added the air dam to mine - prior to this, I would be lucky to break 19 MPG.

Not a mellow driver at all. I usually average 16mpg around town. I wasn't driving mellow, but also wasn't driving like an a-hole, either.

Hmmmm....maybe I should try harder to not drive like an ass. It usually only lasts until one person pulls a move and then the nice guy goes out the window for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow is a new day and the prosac is in the mail. :humble:

    Nice job on the mpg.

Drove from Santa Barbara to Santa Cruz today including up along Big Sur. Averaged 21.7 from Santa Barbara to SLO, a bit lower between SLO and Santa Cruz, but averaged 21MPG over the total trip.

    I was driving conservatively ~60MPH.

Note, I am in a 2016 TRD OR AC with BGF KO2s (e rated).

I think I may drive conservatively more often.

Yes, yes I can get 25mpg also. Set the cruise at 65. I am retired and drive like Pap Paw. Don't give a shit when I get there. If someone thinks I'm late-they got there to early.

Can't you get the TRD Sport in 2WD? Shouldn't your truck say "TRD SPORT 4x4" on the side if it is 4WD?

Trust me, I know the feeling. I'm originally from the East Coast, so driving out in California gets my blood boiling. I still have no clue why slow drivers insist on staying in the left-most lane instead of getting over to let others pass. People out here are the worst drivers.
