Yeah, they are still going! It worked out really good with the rock lights I added.

Was the firewall fairly easy to manipulate, or did you really have to pound on them hard to get them to move back? I have a 3lb short sledgehammer I'd use.

You'll need to go easy at first because some spots are softer than others. I just took my time and slowly pounded it in. Mine was really soft right at the two bolt heads. The bottom and by the pinch weld was harder. It's not that hard to manipulate. I did a little at first and painted the cab mount and firewall black. Went wheeling to see where the tire rubbed off paint, then clearance again where the rubbing was. I used a 3 or 4 lb sledge too.

Does your flares flap in the wind while driving?

No flapping. I made a little bracket/clip for the front of the front flares. I have all my flares bolted in the front and rear of each.

Well that doesn't sound too bad. What sucks is I pounded the pinch weld in toward the motor instead of out the way. Not sure if that's going to be an issue, probably won't, just might be a little more work. Looks like I need to trim more off the end of the body mount too. Probably going to trim my fenders and the flares when I install my rear bumper. Looking at buying new wheels soon, so I might try to clear for a 305/70/16 (33x12.2). If I can get that to clear it would take much more to clear for 35's.

Yeah, 305's sound nice. Too bad they don't make 305/75/16's.

    Front of front fender flare:

    Rear of front flare (bottom)

    Front of rear flare

Rear of rear flare (reused the stock fender bracket)

Could be cleaner if I had used the same type bolts for everything but I just used whatever I had laying around the garage. All these bolts are facing down so they aren't noticable.

Upper control arm bushings and hardware were removed today to clean and inspect. I had a creaking noise that was coming from the inner bushings. There's such a tight tolerance on those inner bushings that grease has a hard time getting around those from the zerks. There was a lot of hard packed old grease that I had to scrape off. I changed grease to SuperLube.
The front of my truck is totally quiet now, we'll see how long that lasts.

I recently did this to my icon tube uca and ended up changing out all 4 zerks too. I noticed the ones that came from icon were sticky, so that's why I couldn't pump a good amount of grease through them. Replaced them with some I found from napa

I need one for a 6 speed though. The area it goes into is a different shape.

I got a set of rear super bumps from @rka installed today. Driver's side needed about a 3/8" spacer, passenger side looked pretty damn good. Seems like this set-up was almost perfect height for my rear shocks.

I'm excited to go try them out. Definitely will be alot better that stock bumps. Thanks Rylan!
