It's do or die time for Manning. He wouldn't be there without the born again Orange Crush. They get in Brady's face enough, the old gunslinger may have enough left in the tank. Otherwise, the Pats outscore them. Either way, I think Manning should retire afterwards.

Manning didn't even play bad, receivers just need to practice catching the ball all week and the o-line needs to practice blocking

Interceptions would have been the death of the Broncos, and outside of one throw that I saw, he did a good job of not turning the ball over.

Agreed, William Gay had a shot at a couple picks but a turnover on either side would have killed either team - as was seen by Toussaint's fumble

Manning didn't play bad at all.
It could've been a much different game if the Broncos receivers didn't have such a bad case of the dropsies.
Wouldn't hurt to have a little more protection from the line either.

Exactly, both Denver and Pittsburgh were pretty evenly matched today. Both defenses played solid and neither had a ground game, differences were Denver's special teams game, which could have led to a couple more turnovers for Pittsburgh as well as Pittsburgh's receivers were making their catches

I think if Bell and AB were in the game it would have been a different outcome. The Steelers have a few good receivers, but when AB is always double covered it allows for a lot more room to work with for Ben.

But, run what ya brung, and Steelers didn't bring enough to win. I hope the Broncos receivers put some stickum on their gloves because they definitely need to be catching balls next week.

If KC didn't have alex smith this would be the time manning would get dumped by denver and kc would pay him huge $$ to play for them for two years.

Off topic but............I've always wondered why brady isn't on tv commercials all the time like manning is. Those endorsements have to pay huge bucks.

    1 of 3 reasons:

He's not relatable like Manning. Peyton is an ugly Mo Fo. Tom is a pretty boy with a supermodel wife. The general public can't relate to that.

He's labeled as a cheater. When (I would guess) the majority of America sees him, they immediately think negative thoughts. Companies don't want their brand associated with negativity.

OR....he just turns offers down. I know he's been in Ugg ads and maybe some high end watch ads. Maybe he's turning down little Caesars and All State where manning accepts every offer that comes his way.

I don't know if Bell would have made a huge difference (aside from maybe not turning the ball over but you never know), I do agree that Brown would have made a difference. I'm not sold on Martavis Bryant, he's really good at times and really shitty at other times. I think Wheaton and that Coats or Coots guy? have more potential

THIS is the reason I don't like Manning! He's on every other commercial no matter what game you watch. I don't need to see him endorse EVERYTHING!!!

He's endorsed MasterCard, Gatorade, Oreo cookies, Direc TV....He's pitched a lot of shit, mainly for Fortune 500 companies. He owns a whole chain of Papa Johns, so those commercials are kind of self serving.

Last week's brutal conditions combined with all of the travel, not just from the past week but from the past two seasons definitely took their toll. I heard a stat about the Seahawks flying over 34,000 miles this year which they said was way more than any other team in the NFL but of course the news did not say who was the next closest.

As for next year, I could see Okung staying and Kearse being allowed to explore free agency since o-line stability will have more priority over WR's. Some of that may also depend on what they think they can get out of Richardson and some of the other lower depth WR's like Smith and Williams. Smith and Williams are following the same path as Kearse.

From here on out I am pulling for Arizona. Yeah they are a division rival but Fitz deserves another shot and if they were to win it all I could see Palmer retiring. If Palmer goes, the Cardinals will have a hard time doing much next year as they have no usable QB behind him.

Looking forward to the last 3 games and seeing what happens next year.
