When did you retire? I retired Sep. 2015 after 24 years, didn't make Senior and waited too long to put in for Warrent when they moved the cutoff back.
    Are you into coins?

Question for the community in general... Especially considering the number we had yesterday.

If I would have pulled out the thrower and the box of clays at the back of the line, would this have bothered anyone? Obviously the dogs ears would have been a consideration, and direction, and all the safety stuff. Safety stuff first, actually. But trying to get a feel for the community, and not wanting to affect anyone else's experience negatively, would something like that be cool?

To head off the obvious... Of course we're here first because we're all into Tacomas and I wouldn't want to interfere with that. And yes, I know that there's something about shooting within 150 feet of a road... I'm not sure exactly where the road was under all the snow though. And yes, I definitely like to share.

I'm just trying to feel the group out, because when I'm out on my own little runs I like to mix it up. Get to the top of a snow run and then have a little fun with firearms.

    Feedback?

EDIT: I do the same thing with my camera, but it seems to be a tad less of a touchy subject around these parts.

I wasn't exactly hiding what I had once we got up on the hill, and a few people commented, so I know several people were interested. I just wouldn't want anyone to be uncomfortable with it.

If someone is bothered by it though, I'd certainly not want my entertainment to end theirs. Everyone up there has a right to not have their fun stomped on by someone elses fun.

jim, to be honest, i see both sides. I'm all for shooting and what not but it all depends on where the trip is ya know. most trips we go out on typically a few guys will shoot and the others will wheel on.

    Negative GhostRider....

Already made that mistake with the HK super 90 shotgun AND the HK SP-89.

EDIT: Looking to obtain another SP-89; super accurate.

Fuck Wades. Great place to go if you want lead exposure. (they exposed workers to lead and also have had increased lead levels in the air in the past) Or if you want to support a place that screwed over gun owners during the Sandy Hook crap.

As for shooting during wheeling trips.....either mention it ahead of time so people can bring stuff with or just ask when stopping for lunch or whatever. I have yet to meet anbyone on here who doesnt shoot lol.

Especially if you let me know ahead of time i have two cases of clays and no launcher myself :)

There's supposed to be a nice little range in Kent on West Vally Hwy. haven't been, but heard you can shoot high velocity if you use frangible ammo.
