I was also a little concerned if I didn't' like it that the stock may not come off
in a way that will allow it to be reconnected. I plan on telling that that concern
    but again, you never know.

maybe it was a sign :D didn't make the appt. windshield wiper ripped right out of the
housing~! all the ice was gone, but there must of been a small amount sticking the
wiper to the glass and out it ripped when I flipped them on. I've never had one do this,
ever. Kinda glad it did it like it did, no replacement was needed, just had to slide it back
together and that was a pita!

that's what freaked me out! I heard a grinding that dug a line into a very thin layer of
ice, (looked more like water) up around the outside and upper part of the windshield
and thought awwe shit!, got out and wiped it off to find no damage. Hoping Auto zone
takes the wiper back now that I have no use for it.

Did you have the OEM's in and buy new one thinking yours tore, or did you already have replacement in?

no, stock wipers were on there and as I figured nothing in stock for the 2016
except a universal type(hoping they take it back), fit fine but being slightly different
in looks would make me crazy. :D

I was asking because I've bean pretty impressed with the OEM wipers, to the point I'll probably get them again. what part of the country are you in?

You will create restriction. Think of it this way, you have a garden hose with running water, now put a hose clamp in the middle of the hose and start compressing and look at how the water flow drops.

I have determned that OEM wipers are the best, they may be a few bucks more but they work and last the best. Tip buy at beginning of winter time because the summer heat kills the rubber next to running the blades on dry glass.

Va. Same here, I think the oem's work great, another reason I didn't want to
    put a universal on there.

Just committing on what you said also, I would definitely not stretch them to 2.5 either. There already stretched in order to get them to 2.25. Taking them farther will make them week and could fail, not to mention the restriction thing some one else said.

my thoughts as well on both. thx for the input. not sure if I'm just asking
or trying to talk myself out of it. :D I am going to refrain from calling him
back about getting in the proper one - 942545 - until at least Friday...Thursday
the the AFe dry flo pro filter is due in, I'll give it a day or 2, I may just end up liking
that. I really liked the sound of my stock exhaust & Volant CAI on the 2011.

I'm familiar with them, but did you notice any real difference with it ? I assume your running it open with no box around it

Very much. Low end and rumble was a noticeable difference for me and others that
I had in it before and after. This is what I just ordered, it's a drop-in aFe 31-10247

I've never tried a drop in, always just went with a CAI but there's nothing available yet
for the v6 3.5. The "tube" should be the only point of restriction at that point. Deck plate
is done, charcoal filter is gone too so we'll see come end of the week how it sounds to me,
    that's all I'm really after, just a deeper/throatier sound.
