Front end vibration after lift install?

    Apparently this is a well known problem? This is my first taco as well as my first new vehicle. I had 5100's put on the front for leveling. Now I have this vibration that no one can figure out. Was told about a kit from east coast something to replace the needle bearing on driver side. Can someone tell me if this is a permanent fix as well as the best option? Thanks

    Is it set at .85? I heard if its set higher it may cause issues from what I heard. Maybe someone can chime in.

    SEARCH BUTTON. yes you need the ECGS bushing if you don't want the vibration

    I haven't heard of this with Toytec or OME kits. Is this a 5100 specific issue?

    I think if you just wanted level it should be set at .85. are you on stock coils?

    There are four settings if I'm correct
    1st setting = 0 inch
    2nd setting = 1 inch (.85 inch, varying sources of information)
    3rd setting = 1.75 inches
    4th setting = 2.5 inches

    I was looking to level my truck with the 5100 with stock coils set at .85. I didn't hear of issues but now I'm wondering if there could be.

    It doesn't matter what lift you use. You are changing the angle of the CV axles regardless

    Holly crap. This is the first I'm hearing this. Makes me not want to do the lift. Is this something any auto shop can do? And is it a must do?

    Any toyota dealer or high volume shop working on modern vehicles should be able to. And don't think its some horrible vibration. Its like a tire tread vibration and only lasts for a few MPH range (27-40mph on my truck).

    Ok that's good. So would I be okay just getting the bearing? The removal and install tool is an extra $100 for a one time use.

    Exactly the same as mine. So am I ok to just run it like it is? Also what are the chances of getting toyota to fix this?

    Its more of a nuisance than an issue. I don't think the bearing will actually fail.

    Really depends on the dealer. I work for another brand, and we aren't allowed to cover a vehicle with any aftermarkets modifications to that system.
