I have been making and selling tails though instagram, but I'd like to mention it here aswell.

I supply a new housing, cut them open and do any color combinations desired ( I am a collision painter ).

I require a $125 deposit though paypal, and typically takes 2-4 weeks to complete and once done I require $345 to ship. That is $470 total and you keep your current tails or I will purchase them from you once you receive mine for $125 but must be in good shape.

don't judge me on the ugly non led reverse light, plan to put a baja design pod inside the housings but haven't had time to tinker with my person set yet.

they look exactly the same tbh, the brake light is led so no change to how it looks lit up and night since the led itself isn't touched. the painted housings on the brake light and blinker honestly look no different in color or brightness at night, the bulb is right there when lit up and it still has a high gloss clear to reflect off in the back round of the painted housing.

i did compare them a while back, left on of my painted lights in, and put a non painted light in the other side and parked outside while it was dark and turned on the flashers and the reverse lights and couldn't tell a difference between them what so ever.

the ones in my truck are, but i use a aftermarket oe spec lights. i wasn't much for using aftermarket but as I'm sure your aware, the price of oem lights are crazy. i have about 10 pairs out right now that are all over the place that I've sold so far using the oe spec lights and have yet to hear a issue with them. obviously it doesn't make a difference if i cut open oem or aftermarket lights so i would do either, price is just going to change if oem is desired.
