So going with slightly larger tire 65 to 75 would result in loss of mpg? Also how about the speedometer, would it still be accurate?

Two weeks later I decided to level it out with 5100's so I ended up trading up to the new KO2's in size 265-75-16. Still a perfect size for this truck and I feel no loss of power and the speedo is still correct.image.jpg

It all depends on the truck /car. I've had instances where a one up size in tire diameter corrected a speedo error when compared to external GPS.

The night I picked mine up, is the same night dipped the grill. I personally wasn't a fan of the new wheels so I requested the older TRD wheels.

Bought the 16 Taco and got rid of the 15 Taco. This was a mistake. Finally got tired of having problems with the truck and Toyota would not fix anything. So the 16 is gone.
Toyota pull your head out of the sand and fix your trucks. What happened, they were great.

All you fellow quicksand SR5ers; did anyone have to pay the additional cost for the quicksand? It looks like on their website it says the quicksand color is only available with an accessories package that include the cover.

When I ordered mine, I had to get the tech package. I don't understand the reasoning, but they only offer certain setups in certain regions. When I picked mine up, the dealer was telling me other dealers were calling from the Mid Atlantic about my truck because they couldn't even build a DCLB OR in Quicksand.

That is strange that it works that way, but it seems like that is how it is here in Alabama too.

Anybody in the DMV area purchase a ORSB 4x4 double cab recently? Trying to get an idea on what a good price would be. Looking for one with the premium tech package.

The website is only slightly better than worthless.

The "Build your Tacoma" option only allows certain combinations based on what is currently being scheduled for production. The configuration you want might be available because it is all ready sitting on a dealers lot or will be manufactured next week.

If you know you want to buy, contact a dealer and tell them what you want. They will have it, find it or have it built.
