I do find myself using them. I don't feel like they get in the way. Without them, the truck looks like it has a body lift. I don't like being able to see the frame.

Yes. The truck looks cleaner and aggressive with more tire exposed.

New member. Joined the Taco club Saturday.

Received my Magnetic Gray TRD Off-Road DCSB. Wasn't expecting to enjoy the creature comforts as much as I am. Sunroof in my pick-up? Okay, sure.

Doesn't feel like a Tacoma, but I sure do love it. I hope the cabin stays this quiet for a few years.

Didn't order step rails, but they put some on. I'm on the fence about them. I will get my lift installed and my new wheels and tires before I make the decision of whether or not to remove them.

I like both the Super White and Silver Sky colors, but I'm very happy with the choice I made.

    What's up Tacoma World?!

Why doesn't it feel like a Tacoma?

Well, let me say I haven't been in a Tacoma in about 12 years, so it feels like a lot more truck than they did then. The quiet cabin and features are comparable to all of the large American trucks my dad has owned. Very impressed.

I drove a 2002 Tundra AC V8 for fourteen years and my 2016 Tacoma DCSB feels more like a truck than my old one did. My Tundra drove like a giant Camry that could go offroad. I am also impressed.

I might have gone with a Tundra if I had the ch-ching, but now I'm certain I prefer the styling of the Tacoma. Glad I didn't.

I like the Tundra for sure but at least to me the current generation is just too damn big.

This. The previous Tundra looked good. New one (that is on it's 9th year essentially) is gigantic. Would hate to have to drive that work every day and park in the parking garage at work. I much prefer having a slightly smaller truck for the 99% of the time that I do not tow.

The suspension is stock. I am running the TRD wheels with a 4 offset. I originally had a 1.25" G2 spacer set from when I was running the stock Sport wheels. I felt the tires stuck out too much. See photo below. I removed the spacers and the tires stick out enough.

I bought the 17" TRD Wheels... Part # PTR20-35110-BK Check with your local Toyota Parts Department. Their cost is $155 and retails for $215 each. I paid $180 each or $778 after tax in California for a set of four.
