I just checked bakindustries.com and it states that as long as you buy it in new condition from an approved retailer, you are good, but auction sites like ebay or resale sites like craigslist void warranty because it's impossible to know the condition it was sold. I looked on bakindustries.com and found that www.************************ is listed as an approved online retailer. So to answer your question with complete knowledge now, warranty for the F1 is for 3 years and is still valid when buying through Morrie at www.************************. The group buy for BAKFlips going on now suggests that it is being purchased from ebay (not entirely sure but the post referred to the vendor having a high ebay rating, so I am reading between the lines a little), so if you order from the group buy, it's possible you will have no warranty if in fact it is coming from an ebay seller.

I would also add, the group buy is apparently only for the g2, fibermax, and revolver x2... not the f1. There may be a group buy for the f1 in the future, but again, if it's coming from an ebay seller, I would say it's a guarantee you will have no guarantee, haha.

Ordered my F1 from Bakfliptonneaucovers.com on the 8th with the expectation they will ship on the 15th. Got shipping notification on the 16th. The F1 is scheduled for delivery today! Not bad from Texas to So Cal.

Put it on in less than an hour but have to take the wife to the DR. Love the new rail system and will post when I get back home. Will also comment on the install. In the mean time... here's a pic

Ok, so I am back. The 2 boxes arrived from FEDEX with no damage. The panels are packed in formable foam so there is no plays in the box. Great pack job. 20160118_125351.jpg 20160118_125357.jpg The instructions have a 16 Tacoma(long bed) addendum that is fairly easy to understand. I was expecting the old rail and was surprised by the new system. The only tools required is a torx 30 and a utility knife. Pull off the head rail an instal the side foam so it doesn't leak there. Istall the top rubber to the header and then to the rails. Remove the 5 screws for the existing rails and install r brackets onto the new rails. Hold them up and install into the existing holes with the new screws. Then attach the original rails to the 5 brackets with new screws. Once that is done you put the top on, align and tighten down. Fits like a glove.

Theres also a couple of extra foam seals that I need to figure where they go. 3 pieces. I think they go at the base of the tailgate inside. Need to do some research or if one of you guys or gals know pipe in!!!!

Yea, bit only the G2 rollback or the trunk. F1 or Fibermax is not on the list. And I am not a patient man. Get er done! I want it, I buy it and we are done. Or you can wait for the prices to come down.
