    my brother wanted a fork trap mounted in his bed to hold his mountain bike. I set two of them and he bolted the fork trap to the bed and it is still there to this day.

    drill a hole..... set the rivnut..... and bolt down whatever.... done

    It permanently mounts a nut on the back side of whatever you mount it to. There are different sizes so you will have to get a rivnut that will thread onto the hardware for your kit.
