If Denver drops balls like they did against the Steelers I honestly think New England will be in the Superbowl again

Jah. Not much more Peyton can do. They need to meet him halfway.

o_O The Panthers RAN OVER them, and it was all they could do to lose by a touchdown.

    LOL that was sooo painful.

Those drops weren't on Peyton, his passes were fine it was all on the receivers. I just hope they do that again next Sunday. Lol

That was my point. If it hits their hands, they need to do the part where they close their hands.

Nah. In the end it was 7-0 Carolina. The difference in this game was the bounce of the ball on a couple of plays here or there as it is in the vast majority of NFL games. Sure, 31-0 at halftime blew and ended up being too much to overcome, but the 2nd half was just as ugly for Carolina. 24-0 for Seattle, who didn't get the benefit of a quick pick 6; the ball bounced back to Carolina when they put it on the turf twice.

Good for Carolina, they won. They played the better game over 4 qtrs by a TD. However, Cam Newton is still someone I don't think you can trust in a big game. You could see the emotional breakdown coming all throughout the second half for him. Back to the pouting, whining baby he always appears to be on the sidelines.

Not sure really. He's been in dunkin donuts commercials-ads at least in MA. Maybe just not his thing, or very picky about what he will promote.

Manning I'm sure won't starve after football either, but remember too TFB has a supermodel wife making millions as well whereas Seyton does not.

Lol. Any narrative you want to use besides the Hawks completely choked and got dominated in the first half, right?

The difference in the game wasn't the bounce of the ball on a couple plays. The difference in the game was the entire first half when the Hawks laid down and forgot how to football.

The difference in the game was 7 points. Arguably the Hawks were more dominant in the 2nd half than the Panthers were in the 1st half they just didn't get a pick 6, or a couple short fields to work with. I said the 1st half blew and was too much to overcome, what more do you want?

What is this supposed to prove? That there are a few people that make excuses? Yeah we sucked it up first half. We also shut down the number one scoring offense on their home turf in the second half while managing to score 24 points on one of the top defenses in the NFL as well. Our season may be done now but we'll be back next season fighting our way through probably one of the hardest schedules in the league while the panthers might play 4 teams who are over .500. Anyways, should be some good games to finish out the season. Would love to see Cards/Broncos bowl game.
