Thanks Dylan that is very helpful information I was thinking about adding a leveling kit so now I know I just need to raise my 2016 1 inch in front. I originally want to put a wider rim and tire on to push the tire out at least 1 to 1 1/2 out this could cost me around 2000 bucks in cash :/. any preference in using a 1 1/2 inch wheel spacers? Would that have any effect on my off road performance and add more stress to my suspension or lug studs? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy new rims a tires? And if I did buy new tires and rims for just a leveling kit should I use a 17 inch rim and maybe go with 32 inch tires? The biggest tire I can get for my stock 16inch rim in is a 32 inch tire that I think is about 8 inches wide.

Sorry about that, we just released our new site and still need to add all the redirects in.
Here's the link to all our complete kits, the Bilstein kits is where to find that kit of interest. All our products now include shipping and we also added our 3 Leaf AAL to nearly every kit.

We are closed today, but we will be checking our e-mails here and there so if you have any questions e-mail us.

I do have a couple questions. The website has an option for build the shocks with springs to bolts on. But there is no place to indicate what setting ? Also the spring option was a bit confusing to a newbie.

    I want a 3" level lift. I think I need the OME 885s for a 2WD sport 2016.

Great tip on the 40 PSI for the BFG's. Went from 32 to 40 and the truck feels more solid now, thanks!

Vibration issue! I have read before on here somewhere about this issue, please steer me in the right direction for a 2016 thread!! maybe one should be started. Purchase 16 dblcab sr5 Monday, leveling kit installed Thursday, vibration now... subtle grind....pause....... subtle grind.... when shifted in 4wd, issue stops... needle bearing issue I assume.
What steps has anyone taken in 2016! to fix this issue, should not happen to a brand new truck imho. Getting alignment today, just to cover bases and then thinking about driving to dealership. This needs addressed by Toyota and the bearing issue, at one time there was a recall on this in 2015 correct, could someone post the recall to print out. I apologize if this has been discussed many times in 2016, but there has to be other 2016 Tacoma owners that have this issue. If the dealer agrees, what parts are recommended, the same factory bearing will cause same issue I would guess.
my first post guys, need some advice.
    thanks a bunch
    Mike

I read on here of someone taking the printout of the 2015 fix in to the dealer and having them do the bushing thing. but I'm not sure..

OME 884/5/7 vs. Toytec coils ... Which would get you closest to stock road feel? My truck is my part time daily driver, part time camping/fishing/rec vehicle. Looking for a good balance of ride quality on and off road so I'm not hating the pavement experience. Feels nice from factory, but I know that will change after lift and wheel/tire upgrade.

I did diff drop and needle bearing replacement with no luck. Next step for me is a solid bushing when I have time.

The second needle bearing was a lot less noticeable, but I still feel it.

Is there any maintenance involved with these lifts? What kind of time frame or mileage can one expect out of a quality kit such as Icon?

(Also posted in the '285/75/16 on stock suspension' thread, which has been sleepy lately.)

For those of you running 285/65/16 + factory OR wheels + 2-2.5" of lift... anyone running wheel spacers?

My DCSB OR is on the rail car currently, should be in my hands by the end of next week...

Then buy the ecgs bushings and have the dealer do it at no cost for labor. Another member had that done since the TSB bearing didn't work for him

I am the dealer and I don't feel that we should pay for it. We wanted to see if the 16's would respond differently to lifts.

I always feel like the dealership should try to fix aftermarket caused issues, but only to some extent. I'm the customer and the tech in this situation so I'm not mad either way.

You wanted to see if the 16 responded differently? No, it's the same exact parts from the 05-15, it would never respond differently. It is a faulty needle bearing, and even present on some trucks that are completely stock. It is just amplified when the angles are changed. You guys will and should fix it, that is why toyota has issued a TSB for that bearing. So if the TSB doesn't fix it, Toyota will do what's right and install the bushing because it is proven to work

Ok, just got back from the dealer and had a discussion, bottom line, if the issue is replicated by service. They will replace the entire carriage assembly and follow tsb protocol at no cost to consumer, deciding which would be best. They are aware of the issue and a 16 4runner just had the same problem. Now if the tsb doesnt work, then I would recommend the bushing, toyota has a new tsb for this problem. My truck goes in thursday.
Dealers sell level kits on 16 tacomas on lots currently , so dealers should think about taking care of the problem. This is not a level or lift issue, its a bearing design problem, and glad my dealership is stepping up to the plate. There is a reason toyota has this tsb, because other trucks modified or not have had this issue.... even 16's. By flipping to 4wd the noise stops period..... so its a diff...and bearing issue.
thanks all who helped me out on this, used correctly this forum can be very beneficial to all tacoma owners, this is my 4th tacoma; ) been a lurker , now posting.
I will keep all informed as my truck progresses, fingers crossed.
