Platidip makes it a breeze. just tape off the emblem leaving a bit of room to peel back the excess, maybe a newspaper in each direction for overspray.

i hit it with 5 coats, waiting about 10-15 minutes between coats. then i let it dry for a few hours, untaped everything and started peeling off the excess. go slow and pull down and out. with enough coats, it'll break where the emblem touches the body. if not you can either touch up or start over.

i used a toothpick to dig out the dip inside the As and the O, everything else practically came off in one pull.

hope that helps. there are probably thousands of videos on youtube if you need a visual aid.

it's all in the prepwork and then trial and error from there. the beauty of Plastidip is that it won't hurt your paint.

yes, to remove the orange pieces. It's attached to some black AC plastic parts too. Pull hard on the orange piece from the sides...It will all come off together. Then, flip it over and you will see several screws and 3 clips...Then the Orange can be removed. Reverse everything to replace with gray.

I saw a YouTube of them. If they're the same ones, it sounds like a high pitched clown nose. I'd be down to buy them if they do sound deep though...

I was worried about these horns (Supertones) sounding a bit too high pitched, but they aren't what I thought. The Sharptones are not as high ptiched

Very disappointed in selection of accessories for my TRD Access. No vendor in my area of Virginia has anything I can look at before I order and buy. I ordered 5" Lund bent end stainless nerf bars and front and rear Husky liners today. I will not be lifting mine. I am anxious to see how the mud flaps look and figure how big/wide tires I could clear with them. Had them on my 2000 and 2008 Taco Prerunners and they looked great and functioned well with oversized tires. Also anxious to see the newly designed seamless ventshades. Had tape ons on the 2000 and in-channel on the 2008 and my 2014 F150. Not a fan of either of those for my 2016. The in-channels look superb but they really score the top of the glass over time. The new seamless by AVS look like in-channel but are taped in. The only other need is a tool box. Have not shopped for them yet. I had Lund gull wing aluminum on my other 3 recent trucks. They look good but sit high. Probably going with low profile for this truck. Wheels and tires and Coverking seat covers probably before this summer. Watching the forum for ideas.
