    Yes, as Rus TRD mentioned.

5100 is fine for this. Damper is a term for either a shock or strut.

I'm thinking of going with the 5100 set at .85 with stock coils. There is a chance that they may be driveline vibration but from what heard its a hit or miss. I guess the chances are more slim since I will be going with only .85.

Thanks for the input. Do you know what coils most people use at .85?

According to what you need. A lot of people like Eibach coils. They add an extra 1.5" of lift over factory coil and also provide a nice ride. However, if you're going to add a lot of weight up front in the future, such as aftermarket bumpers, people tend to go with OME do to the weight capacity. Its all in your needs.

1.5 inch of lift might be too much lift, maybe I should stick with the stock coils

Real quick, do you need to do anything for drivers side lean or no?

Using stock coils no need. They are cut for the taco lean.

Wheelers or headstrong sell 1/4" to 1/2" plates (depending on how much lean you have) to put onto of the drivers side shock to compensate for the lean. Call Marie at headstrong, she'll help you decide.

FYI, I put 5100s at .85 with OME 885s on a 2011 DCSB 4X4 SR5 and looks like too much up front. If you go with OME coils, I think 0 is the way to go on the 5100s

All stock suspension with 5100 set at .85" in front. Fair to note that this photo is camper shell, bed platform in bed, and full tank of fuel.

This is only a frame recall truck. The suspension was replaced six months ago but it's still 3-leaf in the rear. It does have the leaf spring recall pending once Toyota finds a solution but, according to the records, no TSB was done.

    Too few to list.
This is the way to go. Coils are way better than preloading especially with the OR coils. If you are going to preload, use sport coils.

I've seen a few people saying that the coils are side specific. If that's the case, not true on mine. I have a 2015 and I used a 1/4" spacer to even things out. It was about half an inch difference no matter how I measured it. Spacer from Wheelers is like $7. Totally worth it.

Same goes for 2009, 2011 Tacomas we have as well as 2010 4Runner. Buy the spacer!

doubt it since I've done at least 5 trucks all different years and configurations.
