The eFlite is for a micro rally.

The one in question is for a 1/12ish buggy turning into a parking lot basher. I happen to have a little 280 sized Fuze Dynamite 4500kV in a bag waiting to go onto a Losi Mini T and it has the same connections. Plugged it in per color and it worked as it should. I'd put it in but the motor shaft is too small for any gears I have.

Here's the same chassis with a brushed 380 on 3s.

I woud have to gear down way too much for me to run that. Im running 3s on my wraith. It would fly with my gearing.

Plastidipped my body over the weekend. I think it looks better in black. Makes me want to repaint. Think I am going to if I can remove the primer gray paint that it came with. I will wait until I rub some of the plastidip off though. Probably won't take long.

I painted my WRC WRX body while meditating on the stupid BL motor issue when it came to me. I had to cut some bolts down to fit the motor mount. I screwed them into my m3 die and cut them off the thickness of the die. Well, the motor worked prior to mounting. I pulled them out and the motor ran as it should. I cut them down another 3-4 threads, cleaned them up, and mounted it back. It still worked. Good deal. I'll see how fast it is tomorrow.

Can you tell the hobby shop guy and myself are both color blind? We both agreed that this would be Scooby Rally blue.

My dad seems to be really interested in my wraith and i've been thinking of getting him something. Don't think it would be a wraith though. He has a 1970 Chevy C10 rusting away in his back yard currently. He bought it before I was born and it was his pride and joy at one time. Damned old thing still runs too. Anyway, I was looking around and found a 72 (close enough) C10 body from proline. That got me thinking I could do an Axial SCX10 and put the proline body on it. There are so many scx10s to choose from, though. Which one would be a good platform to work with? Would love to get one built so he and I can do some r/c wheeling... His truck looks similar to this:

You'll end up having to change links to match the wheelbase and wheels to match anyway. So may as well get the cheapest one. I think it's the Dingo.

Ridiculously fast on 3s. I haven't glued the tires on yet so I babied it to about half throttle. Punched it and spun both back tires off the wheels.

Picked up a new set of beadlocks for the Twin Hammers. I wasn't a fan of the stock plastic beadlock ring and the stock wheels were not appealing quality wise to me either.

I'm going to a swap meet this weekend hoping to score some wheels and tires. If not I'm ordering these.....http://r.ebay.com/FoO3ej.

Today I swapped the front of my honcho over to four link. Used the spare rear parts to make it happen. Gonna rebuild the shocks tonight they leaked and got filthy in the outdoor comp. I like the axial wheels but I want something alloy

Since you are in Denver have you been to the Craw Space ? Its a bad ass RC shop. When i was passing through Colorado back to texas i stopped in there and checked it out. They carried a lot of Vanquish Stuff.. I picked up some Curries Pro Rocks from them. and they have a course you can play on too.

Definitely have been there. They hold a Friday night comp and once a month host an outdoor scale comp. They rearrange the indoor rocks a few times a month and it's only 5 bucks to play all day.

I want a set of these for my Taco.

If anybody wants to know, the new wheels are 8 grams heavier, just a hair under 2mm wider and the offset sets the wheel closer to the hub by about 3mm.
I was a bit concerned at first about clearance on the steering linkage, but they clear by just about 2mm. I'll keep an eye on that.

What size are those? 5.4" on the left and 4.75" on right right?
