In the settings on the Nav Unit.

It is in the manual on p595.

You can do it for the key, touching or FOB.

My 2012 4Runner had it on the passenger side and it's one of the few things that annoys me about the new Tacoma. I'm still accustomed to grabbing the handle to open the door for my wife and now I feel like a moron because I forget that it doesn't unlock.

Maybe the 2017 will have the unlock on both doors and power seat:fingerscrossed:

Look at it this way... you now have to go to the driver's side and touch the handle and all doors unlock... it's about time she figured out how to open a door... What would happen in a roll-over accident... would she wait for YOU to come around and open the door...??

    It's good safety training... hehehehe...!!:)

Think about getting a door handle and module from a foreign Tacoma where they drive on the opposite side of the road and melding them into the system.

Limited only has the drivers side.

My 2011 4 runner had it on both front doors and rear hatch. That system also had multiple receivers in the vehicle so the system could tell where he key was.

Anybody attempt the switch yet? The drivers side handle does have sensors top and bottom. Maybe some inline diodes?? Anybody??
