the only thing I can post is what you'd find online from googling those models
I wrote in the previous post. It was all done by a professional shop, I didn't even see
it until it was complete. Is there something in particular you wanted to see?

I may have misread your post. The plastic storage bin was removed from the
drivers side so the sub box could be placed there, I left the other side in place.

A picture of what it looks like with the sub box and amp at the back seat. Thanks

Here's a pic of both sides. With the sub, I stuffed a sheet pretty tightly around the bottom to both push the bottom of the bin out, and to mitigate vibration of the bin. The white piece on top is a spacer. IMG_20160105_174510.jpg IMG_20160105_174410.jpg

Perfect! Can you measure the driver side and see if that would fit on that side for me???

It won't. It's about 3-4 inches too wide. That's where I wanted it originally. I also wanted both the sub and amp on the passenger side, but those didn't fit together either.

so a 4 inch narrower sub at the same depth would fit. Sweet. Thanks!

Well took delivery of my truck today!!! I really love this truck!
As for the JBL, easily worth it in my opinion. Yes you could do better, but I don't think the efforts would be worth it at least not for my musical tastes.

Can you give us more details? How difficult is the install? What all did you buy / upgrade to?

    Thanks

The shop that installed the subwoofer on my Highlander did the install. I could have done it but I can't wait till spring/summer time. It is cold this time of the year especially here in Alberta. I bought all the stuff from them converting all the prices online to canadian dollars. Rockford Fosgate 10" dual coil subwoofer, sub box custom made, soundstream amp and wiring materials.

I installed some kind of foam about 1/3" thick which I bought at the dollar store for $3 a pop to help with the rattling of the cardboard type of insulation behind the seats because this set up is powerful. I can only go up to 2-3 on the bass knob cause it is very loud. If you have installed or knows how to install car audio all you need is time which at the moment I don't have. I cannot wait for 4 months or so for winter time to be over here in Alberta. Life is short might as well enjoy while you can. Cheers!

I just added an amp and subwoofer to the existing stock set up. I have 2channel Rockford Fosgate Punch that I am thinking of installing if I decide to replace my door speakers at the back. But I am still saving money for a tonneau cover so it might have to wait for a bit.

People who are complaining about the dull gray OEM aesthetics need to be reminded there is no reason to gussy up OEM speakers with Yellow cones, orange surrounds, and blue painted baskets with purple dust caps.

That is for the guys buying off the shelf in a box to think they are getting something special. I doubt JBL designed a very different speaker entirely outside of the painted and colored stuff for these premium systems becasue They sound very very good.

Jbl audio package for sure...system kicks hard and clear to hear unlike some aftermarket ones...plus if I ever blow a speaker before the warranty ends just bring it to the dealer and it's covered

    ^^This!
I bought the 8yr/125k mile extended warranty, and I am actually really hoping that at about 7yr /120k mi, that I blow all speakers (probably won't happen), and/or something goes wrong in the head unit, that gets me a new head unit just before warranty expires. I say this, b/c a screen is guaranteed to go out (hopefully mine will go out before warranty), also a cd player motor is also guaranteed to go out eventually (i don't use mine, but it sucks the one time i want to and it either won't eject the cd or it won't read it, or something), if this happens before warranty expires, I'm good otherwise I have to suck it up.
