    All 2016's are now 6 lug. Before the only 6 lugs were 4x4 or Prerunner 2wd. The standard 2wd trucks were 5 lug.

    I have a DCLB OR, interested in the sliders with the kickout. How does the kickout mount if its just bolt on only? The last forseeable bolt on spot i see is still under the cab, and the next hole i see is almost behind the shock/tire.

    The sliders are all one piece with the kick out. The assembly bolts to the chassis through oem holes.

    Oh okay, good to know. are you guys worried about damage/flex for the sliders if it hits a rock since there's over a foot of slider after the last bolt/oem hole?

    Nooooo. These bitches are "rock" solid. The reason we can achieve this with no flex is we do something that no one else does to eliminate just that, we added a 2" square tube gusset that extends at an angle from the last spot on the flange out to the over hang.

    How well do these function as steps? My primary use would be for steps for my family, but I do some medium off-roading and don't want a step that will smash up my rockers if i hit a rock.

    They work fine as a step and will support a 4000lb man climbing on them haha. We've lifted the truck with them with no flex. They're designed to take extreme off road abuse. Trust us, a rock, tree, etc will not phase them at all.

    I definitely believe you that they will stand up to pretty much all I can throw at them in terms of off-road abuse. My bigger concern is how much of your foot you can get on them when you use them as a step. My family would use them to get in and out. I am a bit taller so I won't need them to get in, but I would stand on them to tie my canoe onto my roof rack without opening the doors.

    Their is plenty of room to use as a step, and if that is the primary focus I recommend fill plates so no ones foot slips through the hoop and gets hurt. We've sold many sets where people used them more as a step. I had them on my truck for my wife and kid to use as a step with no issues.

    Also, just curious, would I be able to get them without the angle? Would you recommend that if I'm using them for steps or am I better off keeping the angle?
