Chrome Nazis still waiting for finished product pics on the grill! And my vote is for the All-Pro rear bumper!

Patience my friend. I always rush when I paint and it always turns out like shit. So for this I am taking my time and putting on like a coat a day hahaha. Plus I don't get off until 5 and it gets dark by 6 so I don't have much time to mess with it. I also want to make sure the paint cures really well being that it is going to be on the front of my truck.

They are proud of that bumper over there at allpro thought. I want one but they are about $2000 raw. So $2500 by the time it is shipped and powdercoated!! Beautiful bumper though.

What did you prep the grill with? Did you sand it? Use any adhesion promoter? I;ve been wanting to do mine, but I'm afraid it won't hold up to all the scrubbing and pressure washing it takes to get bugs off that area.

I sanded the chrome, sprayed on a self etching primer, then used matte black rustolium wheel paint. I never did it before so.... We will see if it holds up

Good to know. Going to do the same with mine I hate the chrome. I might try the automotive touch up rattle can to color match the MGM.

BTW love the build. Planning on doing similar mods to mine

Like most things, time will tell. BTW, that rear tube bumper is badass. Go for it.

Ordered on of these max couplers today. I was going to use a Lunette and pintle but wasn't happy with the articulation it provided and all of the play it had in it.... I really like this design.

Considering putting a hinged rack on top of the trailer to mount the tent to.... Thinking prinsu designs or front runner. Not sure about height yet though.

    Similar to this.....

I have a Prinsu rack in Baton Rouge if you haven't already seen one in person.
