Does this make you Agent Smith and me Neo? See I'm flattered.. Thing is, I don't know Kung-fu.

First weekend of February is the intended target.

I'd like to get a good amount of wheeling in but this is semi dependent on weather. I don't really mind the cold much, as long as it stays above 0 degrees I'll abide. I plan to get back to Columbus around 5 or 6 on Sunday, so that leaves plenty of time earlier in the day to get up to horsecockery.

If we all got there Saturday morning, we can spend some time setting up, for those who would like to camp since I know most here use ground tents, I might even have to ground tent that trip, then go wheel for the day and get back for lunch/dinner or whatever. There might be a night run, I will check on that. Then Sunday pack up, wheel till 1-2pm and roll out.

Yeah I dig that. Hopefully I'll have weatherproofed my bed by then and can truck camp, but I'll be ground camping if I haven't done that yet and my bed gets wet from wheelin.

Cool. Whether Relentless or AP is faster at making my bed rack then that will decide whether I'll be in the RTT or on the ground.

So far it's me, you, Mark, Micah. Some of the FJ guys I'm sure.

    Also, thinking of you..

Uggh. Got a parking ticket in the mail from Cali from back in July...

Don't feel like paying it but fuck me if it goes to a collection's agency and my credit score takes a hit.

Lol. Must be an expensive one.

I got one in Toronto a few years back and I saw it coming. Parked on the fire hydrant side. All the other cars parked there had tickets already too. It was $40 so it didn't affect me whatsoever.

Is there an electronic way (email) to contest it? I've gotten several parking tickets at various venues, universities, whatever, over the years and I always file an electronic appeal with a neatly worded and friendly explanation - I have always had the ticket dismissed.

Now those cocksuckers at EZ Pass and the PA turnpike, they don't throw out their fucking electronic tickets when you ask nicely.

I actually had a conversation with the Ranger that wrote the ticket (MRCA-they make millions of dollars a year on tickets) and was friendly with him. There is basically a trail head at the top of a canyon where you can hike/bike in. People typically park all up and down the residential street right before the road turns to dirt. I prefer to pull up onto the dirt (about 15m short of the trail head) and park there to be out of the way of the residents (there is a 2-ish way intersection here with one side being a very steep, sharply curved road going down. When cars are parked on both sides of the street it makes it sorta sketchy.) At the trailhead the is a gate and a no vehicles/no parking sign, but being about 50 ft away just off the pavement and out of the way I didn't feel that I was in violation.

I'll write to the agency and see what comes of it If they tell me to blow a fat D I'll fork over the $70, although I'd much rather have the money in hand.
