The F5s or SCS in general? Either or, they have plenty exposure already but yea sure more exposure wouldn't hurt. If it were me I'd address your questions in one of the 3 threads started by SCS so that SCS's own thread gets bumped to the homepage. Search tool is great once you learn how to utilize it.

That's the exact two I was having a hard time choosing between! I ended up going with the matte black stealth 6's. The SR8's are really nice too though.

Either or. Besides the point. I chose to start a new thread for a reason. I wasn't going to waltz into one of the SCS threads and ask how many people have them on their second gen Taco. So I figured I would start a specific thread focused on one generalized idea. Second gen Tacoma's with SCS wheels. That way second gen owners like myself don't have to weed through three different threads and hundreds of pages. I do see your concern however as every forum on the internet has the same underlying problem.. People do not use the search button. I've seen those threads. They're great. Lots of eye candy. This thread is a little more specific. Care to contribute a picture of your second gen with SCS wheels? I'd love to see it. ☺️

I'm running the same UCA's and I was able to achieve 4 degrees of caster when I got my alignment. This gave me plenty of clearance to minimize the trimming. I took a chance with this tire size because I didn't want to cut my fenders, and it worked out great! I've stuffed these pretty good too, and no issues. Wish I had better pictures, but hope this helps. Sorry for the thread jack....

You didn't jack the thread. I'm glad you shared! Have the driving characteristics changed any with 4 degrees of caster? I assume it is 4 degrees of negative caster? I was heavily considering 35's later down the road, but I think you just convinced me otherwise. lol

    16 x 8 SR8's on the stocker Rugged Trails:

Love these wheels, they get a lot of compliments from other Toyota guys especially.

One thing I have noticed, though. With the stock size 265/70/16 tires, I get rubbing on the mud flap locked and stuffed up front. Removing the mud flaps would fix this, but I highly doubt I could even step up to 265/75/16 without a lift. These wheels have a lot of offset, and if I'm not mistaken the Stealth 6's have even more.

Went wheeling this weekend and got my SR8's dirty and put a few nicks and rock rash on them.

Positive caster which moves the wheel and tire away from the cab. Helped create all kinds of room and no rubbing :D

Stealth 6 black on Tacoma & bronze on wife's 4Runner, waited both times for the ship to come in & it was worth it both times.
