Rumor has it there might be a group buy on them this year, figured I'd hold out. After seeing Brians, I'm sold.

They work on any sort of gasket and rtv :) They will last forever too for the most part so well worth the cost.

    Belated build update:

Chassis prep for the bamf shock towers/mounts.

Tip: use a sawzall to cut as much as you can on the first pass, then finish it off with the angle grinder.

Thanks man, slow but steady. Can't wait to have a functional truck again. She's been a limping pavement princess for far too long.

Hell yeah, Sunday is all clear, lets do this!

Thankfully it stopped raining today so I got a little more prep work done on the CMC and pinch weld.
It's not as clean as the passenger side but I'll fancy it up with the grinder on version 2.
I also changed routes with the pinch weld and folded it outside vs inside like I did on the pass. Still have a ways to go but it's a start.

oh thats easy compared to what we have done. I think were gonna do Tahuya on Saturday, might want to get the brake lines in before that. I might just do them Friday.

We'll see, I've read my share of horror stories with the oem rivets. Wonder if there's anywhere that rents Mag drills? one of those would kick ass.
I do have an air hammer with a few pencil points which will help pound those out. Might be time to get some better ear pro it's gonna be a loud day.

oh yeah those rivets will be the worst part. I just got some sweet ear muffs from work, ill pick you up a pair along with some gloves. My tires were rubbing a bit last weekend, i think its time to work on the CMC a little too. i should get those on before my sliders get welded on. Either way we'll have plenty to work on.
