    Not possible. You would not be able to get an accurate measurement down that low because you couldn't go WOT from zero rpm without breaking stuff. Dyno would freak out also. Never tried it and wouldn't want to. I can apply a steady load at probably as low as 1000 rpms but trying not to break my truck :)

    300rpm on the axle is your low-end starting limit. Multiply that by final drive ratio to get your minimum engine rpm for the test.

    I was just going to post that the dips and peaks are not the same as the first. Looks like around 10 ft-lbs as opposed to 20 and 30

    Yeah, this one looks better - not just because of the scaling, but better overall.
    There were a few other clues I spied as well.

    Really only adjusted scale. It's just harder to see dips now

    the first charts always look shakey, but once you calculate averages we end up with a pretty nice torque curve. I'm happy with it, looks like toyota did a nice job mapping out a v-6 with 12 injectors and variable valve timing.

    Ever study stock market charts? You have to ignore the dips and spikes.. its all about averages.

    One can never have too many light bars.
    While the torque figures aren't gonna drop any jaws its pretty impressive that it's as high as it is at 2K which is where the engine will spend most of it's time at anyways.

    Yeah wish I would have put the wide band on it before running. I'll get it next time. This won't be the last time this truck will be on the dyno.

    And I've been saying power at Low rpm is better than any previous Tacoma. The nut huggers still love that turd of a 4.0 though

    No worries. the numbers are different than the first one. AP1 is actually better.
    BTW - do you have a copy of the Dynapack training manual?

    good! I want to take off easier, and pull light-trailer easer. More power in lower rpm is welcome and worth the trade from my 4.0L 2013 taco.
