I purchased mine from my local Ace Hardware. I suspect Lowes or Home Depot would have it as well. I would highly suggest getting a couple cans. One is probably enough to do about 6 coats, but you also probably want to practice on something else before you get started with the grill, just to see how the plasti dip behaves when it's applied and work out the best distance/technique for the texture you're going for.

They actually have a few versions of this style under the billet model. I bet most of you will reconsider them since the price is cheaper than the SR grille. That Toyota stealership marked it up, not 300%, but over 500%! The website list the price at $252.99. They show a few variations for this price: with or w/o the emblem, powder-coated or polished. If the T-Rex was added to the poll, I'd vote for it. I'd much rather have a powder coated, aluminum, billet grille over a plastic one any day!

BTW, they also have the Upper Class series, for those who prefer a mesh grille, but it costs twice as much ($562.65).

But there is no depth to it. It's just flat across. At least with the SR there's curvature and depth. That's the problem I have with just throwing up a mesh grate. It's like installing a bbq grate lol. That's just my .02.

The T-REX logo ruins it for me.

Is there any way to take it off?

OTHER: I saw these yesterday while looking at their website. I am going to order the black billet with no logo recess. The t-rex emblem will be coming off, though. I'll post pics once received and installed.

I may run it with no lettering, but am thinking how the FJ Cruiser 2.5X14 letters would look in the middle?

    Or the Toyota Devil logo?

Ive been waiting for a mesh grille like this one. But that bezel is fuckin hideous..
Is that for real? I want this but with the stock bezel black and "TOYOTA" in gunmetal centered.

I'd go with something large and 3 dimensional to break up that vast expanse of blackness, otherwise your Tacoma is going to look like a large mouth bass.

Bad news... Received a call this afternoon from T-Rex and they were not supposed to put the black billett grille (non laser series-no logo recess) on their website. It has since been taken off and the only thing available is the laser series with the logo recess. Order cancelled, back to square one.

Added the TRD badge to the newly derped grille. Hope this post shows up correctly, because I'm posting from my phone and never done it before.

Any one have the SR5 Grill part number?

    I know the SR is
    53100-04500-xx

    and Sport is
    53100-04520

I'm wondering if the SR5 grill is in between those two at 04510?
