Exactly why I said I don't know if it's worth paying for. If I didn't get mine free I would still have a hook.

 

I wired mine. Had to drill small holes in the top of the shroud. There might be a way to do it without drilling holes. Wish I had a pic of how i did mine.

 

I just drilled holes in my shrouds. Barely noticeable. Took the smallest drill bit I had and made 3 holes. Used the metal out of three bread ties to tie it.

 

Cool got it. Im gonna go grab some bread ties from the store lol. Guess I'll buy an apple or something and just use 6 ties so it's not stealing. I'll use JB Weld on the back one.

Also, when attaching the front halo, do I also have to drill two bigger holes feed the wire thru? Or do I just squish it against the shroud? If I do that you'd think the halo wouldn't sit flush...

erm... otay. I don't think mine does. It's just a flat surface.

The shroud has an inside that slips over the projector and an outside that makes up the outside of the shroud. There is space between to run the wires.

 

Oh yeah. Sorry what I'm trying to say is the wires on the back of the halo are gonna hold one side of the halo up a little higher. Probably won't notice I guess.

 

Get the flat link E. It's a lot nicer because you can put the shackle bow through it. The other ones besides that thimbel can not do this. Trust me I have had both types and would buy the E all day long.

 

No it won't. You can wire down so it's pretty much flat. Just have to get it situated right.
