Ha. Turns out I sell this at work. I forgot that Isotherm = Indel. This group buy price is still a hell of a lot better than what I can get it for though...too bad they won't ship to Alaska.

Just a few expensive & DIY things...
Is it worth asking for an updated discount price if we far exceed our intended goal of 25? can't hurt to ask

Plus I reached out to TruckFridge and they said they also take individual Visa and MasterCard.
There is also an east coast distributor [home base is Kentucky], would that save on shipping time/costs, especially for us East Coast guys.

They said the max is 25%. I doubt they would go any higher once you factor in the discount and free shipping they probably aren't making much per unit.

I think 549 is before shipping, 594 is with shipping, so discount is off 594.

And ... How tall is it with the lid open, and will the lid stay open when it's partially open or does it have to be all the way open to stay up.

I just want to see how much room there will be for it. I have my platform built in the rear passenger seat, seat removed, so there will be room for the fridge, but I dont think a slide would work to get it outside of the door far enough and since they hinged it to make it open longways instead of short doesn't help in confined spaces.

So I just wanted to see if it would open up and stay open by itself or if I'd need to add something to keep it open instead of having to use my head to prop it open.

The lid does swing past 90 so it will stay open by its self. The box is 23 long and 21 tall so If you took 2-3 inches out of the length of the box for hinge thickness and the controls the total height of the unit open would be close to 40-41 inches tall. Any you can build/buy slides that slide out and then down to help with that. Or your handy with wood. Cut a block to prop it up :p

I knew it went past 90, but I was worried about not having enough room if the lid hits the ceiling before it gets to that point.

I'd be more likely to modify the fridge to open in the proper direction (on the long side), if at all possible. Just might take a bit of custom work.
