Not suprised you broke a center pin, cause of the way you drive. your setup can't keep up...it's pretty obvious, I've broken a few on my old crawler.... You know that tierod puller thing u can buy at Napa? It's a great trail bandaid for this sort of thing, leafs fit inside it good and you can tighten the pin down to minimize the shifting.... Just sayin

I hear ya. It makes sense. I think I'll end up riding this out til they decide to give up ghost again. Then I'll upgrade to something beefier. How much do you want for those All Pro's out of curiosity?

Rob, please please please just go with like a DMZ kit and pony up the cash. Your front end would compliment it well (even though the way you drive a 3.5+ kit would be best). And I bet you'd get waaaaay better performance out of the truck with SUA

What the hell? That's stupid coin right there. Why not try out a Chevy leaf spring swap over? It should work right?

That's considered pretty cheap too lol, you could save some money on the shocks by doing just smooth bodies. But shit the springs were like 800 bucks from deaver. The difference is night and day, there's a point to where you got to pony up the cash for stuff for what you want to get out of your truck. You need long travel stuff man, just save your lunch money

Well first I got to fix the rad support and the headlights as well as go with poly engine mounts before anything else. Then I can do the leaf springs.

Yea thats super cheap. Dirt Designs quotef me about 7k in just labor. So add in another 4k for shocks and a leaf kit. (DMZ kit with all parts needed plus 3.0 16" King triples). This isn't a cheap sport, and I've learned the hard way already that trying to cut corners and find a cheaper replacement for what I need just leads to broken trucks and hearts lol. You could pick up thr DMZ kit with all the fixings for just under 2k, probably rock some used smoothies for a while, or find some uses doubles on DR for under a grand, and then find some garage fab nearby to burn the kit in and get you a cheap bed cage going for around 2-3k, maybe cheaper if they are new. But then you run the risk of getting your shit fucked up. You and I havent run any trails yet, but from the pictures you post, and from what we've talked about before, I can tell you like the same kind of shit I do. I had to sit down and tell myself to save up for LT and do it all the right way the first time on my new truck after bashing around in my prerunner. I'm also onlyputting mostly new stuff on the 4x4, after buying nothing but used shit on the prerunner, but thats just personal preference. Otherwise I'd probably have the truck build already with some hack job shit all over it and a bunch of piecemeal parts.

Drop your truck off I'll build you stuff, not the absolute best but I haven't died from the crap I've made yet. Just got a TIG welder too and I'm pretty good with it. Food for thought

Nothing major going on. I am in need of new 2012-2015 headlights. Probably going to pick up some TYC's. Here is a list of the mods I need to do as of right now:

    - Headlight replacements for both sides (TYC)
    - Weld on frame plating for the rear end (already received plating)
    - 700# springs (PAC) Made in USA baby!
    - Might as well flip the valving for the coilovers since I am going to be swapping springs (15C/10R)
    - Painted shock tower crossmember, now I just need to reinstall it
    - Oh and polyurethane engine mounts. Those are a bit pricey for me at the moment. So those will have to wait.

    Mods recently done:
    - Mobtown tailgate reinforcement. Makes the rear end feel a little more compliant even just driving around town. :)
    - Ordered a Heavy Duty key fob for the truck. It's the little things that matter!
