Ok well I think I might just spend it on something else then. I am planning on building my own plate bumper but before that, I want to upgrade my lift kit. Any ideas for some sweet upgrades under 200? Hahaha

4.56 is what my dad has with 34s. It's jusssst slightly over geared. Pretty much perfect for a trail limo that is fully armored.

Finding OEM 4.30s will be very very hard

Well the only thought I had was, since its an 8" shouldn't a 8" r&p fit with a ifs install kit? The only catch is the reverse cut HP. Can't take a regular 8" r&p to HP.

So I need some help.. Took my truck to get an alignment at Dynamic Diesel and Bear alignment in Snohomish, someone on here recommended them and they had been great for me in the past.
Went last Tuesday, took some time to get my steering wheel straight (apparently it was 90 degrees off, had my steering rack bushing replaced a few days earlier). Get in my truck, about 5 minutes in I notice my airbag light is on and my ultra gauge isn't on..
Called Jon at Mule Expeditions and he said they could have taken the steering wheel off and didn't reconnect something, or the battery wore down enough and threw a code.
Called the shop that did it and they said they didn't take it off and to unplug my battery for half an hour, let it reset, and it should go away. Didn't work. Took it to the dealer and they cleared the code but the light is still on.

Anyone know what could be the cause?? Taking it to the shop that did my alignment on Friday since they think it could be the clock spring? At least thats what it sounded like over the phone..
Also I looked down and they had unplugged my UG, assuming they tried to clear a code and forgot to plug it in? Must be hiding something from me

That definitely sounds like a clock spring.

There was a recall, not sure what years it covered. Was your steering wheel waaay outta wack? Do you have steering wheel controls?

I got my steering rack bushings replaced Saturday, we reset the steering wheel mostly straight. The next Tuesday took the guy an hour to get it straight during the alignment, said it was 90 degrees off

Do you have steering wheel controls? I'f those don't work, I'm 99% sure that's the clock spring. That's a bit hard to believe it was 90° off. It takes a bit get that far. If that's the case your clock spring got stretched and when you went full lock on your steering wheel it snapped.

Yeah still have steering wheel controls. I didn't really believe it was 90 off either..

Well if you still have steering wheel controls it doesn't sound like your clock spring. AFAIK those controls are wrapped up in the clock spring also so when one goes so does the other.
