Which Wheel would you go with?

Just wanted to get some opinions on which tire you think is a better buy, for all around driving and mostly wet, and snow?
The Kumho MT

Or the Hankook Dynapro MT?

 

have you thought about duratracs or BFG commercial Traction TAs. they both have the "Mountain Snow" symbol qualifying them for severe snow and they are studdable

 

i had the hankook Mts on my plow truck. Not as good as i expected in the snow. Also, they cupped really bad and i had a blowout. The tire tread separated from the sidewall like a retread. Hankook offered to replace the tires. I got a set and sold them to my buddys dad for their farm truck. They work great in mud.

 

if i had to choose between those 2 tires..... probably the Hankooks. Otherwise, GY DuraTrac, BFG KM2, Firestone MT, Toyo MT, or Dick Cepek mud country- I havent decided what I want to get next just yet......

 

Yea they are but i think the lack of siping makes them kinda crappy in wet slushy snow.

Yeah Ive thaught about the Duratrac's also, I think that was my other choice, But my first was the Hankook's. Only bc I love the tread design and all the Reviews Ive read said that they were awsome in the snow, and wet road. It Rains alot up here in the great Northwest!

 

I haven't heard much about the Kumho MT...looks good though

 

Same thing happened to my dad with his F-450

 

might be from the weight of larger trucks. Mine was on a chevy 2500hd with a 9' stainless plow and a salter in the rear. fully loaded the truck was over 10k lbs. i replaced the hankooks with BFG commercial traction t/a those tires are freaking great in the snow.

If you want good snow tires, look for the mountain snow symbol. makes a huge difference in snow performance. Only the best snow tires get the symbol. Duratracs, general grabbers, and BFG commercial traction to name a few...
