Really now. I'd like to put my eyes on one before I commit to the upcoming group buy.

Im still doing my research on this. I may have to have one made. I need the spring perches to be 48" wide, be the same bolt pattern as my truck, and be about 60" wide.

You will find most axles do not have spring perches installed when you buy them. Look for an axle that is the width you need, then weld on your perches.

The bolt pattern is only a matter of getting the correct hub and/or drum assembly. In my trailer build thread, look at post #190 (http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...-Offroad-Teardrop-Build?p=1904465#post1904465) where I convert it from 5 to 6 lugs. Really simple. I'm pretty sure when you buy an axle, you can specify the wheel bolt pattern, saving you some work.

Thanks a bunch. If I could find one without the perches that would "axley" be better....

Sorry about that couldn't help myself....

I'm going to wind up building the trailer to the dimensions I want and then figuring out the axle once I get there rather than the other way around. Thanks for the help

How much weight does that add to each wheel?
