    Yes, it's a few layers. Right above the removable filter in the lid you lift off.

    pretty much. I noticed the K&N drop in filter is the same part number as the Taco.

    Noticed a small change in sound with aFe dry filter I installed last night, will have to
    drive it more to decide on anything else. I like the idea that it's cleanable and will last
    a long time - had one in the 2011 too and liked it.

    Deciding on the muffler today....... :D

    sounds good! too cold out there for vids, just got back to work with it.

    at idle you can barely tell a difference at all. As soon as you start to move though
    the sound is there, not sure what highway speeds will sound like when I'm cruising but
    off the line and up to about 40 mph, you know it's there. Not sure if the AFE is lending
    more or less to the sound, again, to cold to play around too much.

    The low end improved without a doubt - butt-dyno confirmed. :D It felt just like I
    had the ECT button activated.

    cool, is that common with Flowmaster or just a guess?. the stock muffler is a beast!
    I put it in the bed just in case I want to swap it back and more-so because it's
    brand new and I just couldn't toss it. I also didn't know we have 4 cats on this new engine. :eek:

    Never tried it with a flowmaster, but I've swapped out a few mufflers in the past with different vehicles. They seem to sound just a tad bit different after a while. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I've heard others say that as well.

    makes sense. I've always gone cat-back, never did just a muffler swap.

    Yeah, I found out about four cats also.My friend try talking me into running with no muffler because of the four cats, but I think I'm still going to go with the 44 for myself . My question is, now you say it feels like you have more power because of the muffler mom? To make it feel like you have the ECT on when it's not?

    The same kind of low end power I felt when using the ECT - all the time :D - I feel that now
    with the new muffler without the use of the ECT button. Is that what you're asking?

    Took off from a light, didn't stomp it, just normal acceleration and thought wtf! I looked
    down to make sure it was off, thought for sure it was on the way it took off.
