PT278-35100-BH can be ordered at any Toyota dealership in Canada. Should be about $55. No stock, so expect 2-4 weeks to get it in.

I got mine at a dealer. Charged me $49.50 plus tax.
Parts guy told it was coming from Japan. It took 8-9 days to get.
Had to tell him it was a accesory. And told him to look up a 2015 model. It didn't come up as a 2016 part.

I just went through this: you need a clearance letter from toyota canada so they know you are sending the truck south. Now how many can you sell stateside before they flag you is what i will find out shortly.

Prices on parts from Toyota dealers in Canada include shipping, there shouldn't be any additional cost.

    End caps should be 66134-04010.

    Hey Canadian '16 owners,

If you are experiencing some tranny slip issues shifting from reverse to drive after cold start, the issue is low tranny fluid from the factory, confirmed from my dealer. I would guess due to the addition of the tranny cooler on tow package. Seems to appear after 1000 KMs, at least in mine.

I thought something was a little off with the way it shifted first thing in the AM, did the dealership take it in and service it right away?

I read somewhere it is a bit of a process for them to check the level...

It was in for the 1000km service, I mentioned the issue and they they told me low fluid level. 2nd truck in this week with same problem. I would assume Toyota factory has caught the problem at some time during production. Mine was built in October, so could be after that the issue was addressed, but not sure when that would be.

Dropped mine off last night, they serviced it in the morning and got a call by 11AM that it had low fluid level, but can't really say how long it took them, I've heard 1/2 hour to confirm, but that was on a U.S post of the same problem.

I would add, that unless you tell them there seems to be a problem, they won't check. It's not part of the 1000km check. At some point it'll probably be a TB released, but who wants to wait that long. Dealer seemed to be surprised that 2 in one week, so that tells me no TB to date.
