Not a bad idea. Although, in the two years I've had the truck, I haven't had any reason to go into a parking garage. I suppose I should go measure her at the highest point on the roof so I DO have an idea of my minimum clearance...no shark fin, though.

I just pulled the trigger on a set of Husky liners front and rear. They are on sale until the end of the month, and shipping is free, so I figured what the heck...it's only money. Now I can quit buying cheap floor mats to put over my carpet mats over the carpeting! My dealer HATES it when I bring it in like that, especially after the acceleration/floor mat interference hassles of the last few years.

The OEM was bent and the length (whipping around) loosened it constantly (so frustrating ~ bonus, these are more car wash friendly)... So once I've got more seat time I'll let you know... Since I'm living sort of rural it's not great. But, also can assume a new, tight in the coax antenna should at least be near the quality I was living with... Thanks for asking.

After poking around (here on TW), my automatic is /was, 8mm x 1.25.

They send a jam nut and washer, and the proper 8mm brass sleeve for their universal knob to adapt. Only took a couple tries to get the height / tight, proper fit. Love it. :playball:

I think you'll love the Husky liners. I've had them before (2001 GMC, 2010 Jeep Wrangler). I like the price point, customers service, and Love knowing someone in Kansas is employed making it happen.

One more time? You make it sound like you're about to put your truck into a home, or take it to the vet to be put down.... :(

Something like that. After crawling under the truck and taking a good look at everything, I'm thinking it's time to rehab the front end. Then the plan is for another glorious 7 years. :D

Installed the 300 pounds of Tube sand bed lowering/Leveling kit. Install was not to hard coast $22.25 out the door. Available at most hard ware stores. I got mine at Lowes and after a lot of research decided to go with Quikrete for the brand. Big improvement on rear end traction !
