I've just never been a fan of the over ear headphones. I hate how they look. Some people can pull it off. I just look like a douche. Lol

These are fairly small, which I like. Sound quality is really good. And I really only had to adjust them once (doing dips and looked down and they slipped down some). I'll give em a week or 2 and see what the verdict is.

Honestly I can't even tell you have headphones on with that fuckin beard. But if you aint tryna look like a douche like me, I recommend some skull candy earbuds. They're cheap, comfy, and have good quality.

Did front squats again today using the arm cross technique. Felt better. I think I had too many clothes on though. It was the first thing I did in my workout so I was still trying to get warm (it was sub30* outside today). All the layers made it difficult to sit the bar evenly across my shoulders. On my last set it slipped and I had to catch it in my elbows and hold it like a weight plate doing situps. Made for an interesting last few reps.

I don't remember the last time I did front squats but I remember I was having trouble keeping the bar up on my front delts while using the cross arm technique. Especially as I went heavier. I think that's why I stopped doing it ha ha.

Yeah, front squats are awkward and that's why I usually stay light with them.

I'm all for the over-ear headphones now that I made the switch. Easier to take on and off. No worries of the buds falling out. No damn cords to get snagged.

When I was working out 6 days a week I never got sore. Quit for a month and bam sore as a mofo! I did some different things than what I was normally doing and hit areas I've never hit so that helped with the soreness.

Indeed it is. Wish I didn't take the break that long. I feel like I've lost all my gains and strength.

If you're just starting to lift again after some time off, the soreness is inevitable IMO. However, I like to stretch thoroughly before and after a workout and implement the foam roller for my lower back and hamstrings very often. It takes out plenty of annoying knots/pains you may be feeling.
Other than that, just make sure you're consuming enough protein.

Whats goin on Paulo?! Yeah this is the worst soreness I've felt in a looooong time. I hope so.
Yeah I stretch a lil bit before and after but not much. Might do a lil warmup before hand and then some stretching after. Thanks bud.

No problem! I felt like crap my first week back too (about a 1.5 months ago). Soon enough that muscle memory will kick in and you'll be feeling less and less sore after each workout. Then you'll begin to question whether you're even makin' gainz anymore lol

I use the beard to distract from the ugliness. It's nice.

I was saying you look like a douche. Lol. There are definitely a lot of douches in my gym that wear big headphones l. I don't want to be them. The guy that was streaming his workout the other night....big OTE headphones. Didn't mean any offense by the douche comment

Now, Zach, on the other hand....BIG douche.

haha your truck has definitely made some gains though. but yea, i like to do different grips on pull ups and other pulls to target different areas of the back. just give it a couple of days before hitting it again.

oh i know you didn't mean anything by it. i was just making fun of myself. i do agree with zach being the biggest douche nozzle, though.
