Oh, thank you, OP says 3 remaining.
Why would a group buy have a limit? The quote itself says volume is key?

Better to ask what I have not done.
there is one spot left and i think some one already called it before you and the max discount was 25% or 25 people and the OP capped it at 30 because of the logistics already going on for 30 people.

Okay, thanks for outlining that. I understand op wanting to limit the amount of funds he has to transfer, probably a wise move. I've no interest myself but those I tagged may want to be waitlisted.

If you are on the waitlist don't lose hope! I am trying to figure out some alternatives to the bank transfer and seeing if I can renegotiate the bank transfer GB rule with TF. No promises but stay tuned!

Thanks again for doing this @.45 JHP

Regardless of what TF chooses to do as far as payments go, you'll be receiving an invoice or order confirmation directly from them.

OP needs to be careful so the IRS doesn't come after him for unreported income. :anonymous: Didn't know if you thought about that or not...

Thanks for the heads up. Among the reasons I'm trying to work out a different payment arrangement with the vendor. That and eliminating the self-imposed sign up cap.

If money does pass thru your hands, I suggest asking a REAL CPA for advice. That's a big chunk of change.

Yeah, you can gift the money. But when you "gift" money there is no way for you to utilize Paypal as a means of getting your money back if for some reason something went wrong. Basically, Paypal will not cover it if you use the option of sending money to family and friends and request a refund.

If you do the "payment for goods or services" they cover incomplete transactions up to 180 days after if you do not receive the item as well as if you receive the incorrect item, used item instead on new, etc...

Again, I in no way suspect this to happen. But unfortunately you can't be too careful.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    So....

    When?

@Mach375 it will likely be the week of February 15. I'm making sure that I clear absolutely everything with the vendor before I let everyone know the next steps- including ordering/payment instructions and ordering dates.

So I want to get the mounting plate also, is that all part of the same transaction and how does that get added to my invoice?

Got it thanks, this is only my second GB so I'm not to familiar with their workings it's been a while...

Also were you the one who followed me out that morning we left at Eagle Lakes?
