    How long does it take before the Moogs go bad? I've put maybe 12k on them and no problem yet.

    around 5k for a very noticeable clunk on my truck. I believe it was always there, just started out slowly and became more prominent with wear.

    @chyknees

    How are your Whiteline bushings holding up? It's been about two years...

    Also, what model Tacoma do you have? Second Gen?

    I dug around the forum, is this your truck with the Whiteline bushings in the LCA's?

    @719bloodhound

    Do you have a projected timeline for your install?

    Kev, I saw in another thread you referred to the Mevotech as a poly bushing. Is that right?

    Just from observation, they look like rubber. :notsure:

    I can't find much useful info on the manufacture site at all.

    Were they quantity (1) per box? Part numbers MS86410 and MS86409. So order quantity (2) of each?

    Correct on the #'s and quantity.

    These bushings are considered their "Supreme" models and are polyurethane.

    I think so.

    I bought some used factory LCA's for a good price to refurbish and swap in. Gonna do ball joint too, cause boots are beat.

    That was me. But I only had them on for around 2-3k before selling the LCAs to a local guy. I had an extra bushing set that was missing one bushing, but the folks I bought them from said I didn't need to return them, so I ended up giving them to @Torspd. Not sure if he attempted to get them on yet though. Or if he was able to get the replacement bushing.

    Thanks. You and @chyknees (here) are the only two persons that I could find that have successfully fit the whiteline bushings on a Tacoma LCA.

    I've asked chyknees via PM, to come in here and post feedback on the whitelines as it's been two years since his install.

    I reached out to Whiteline tech support (in California) and they couldn't confirm or deny that that would fit on in the Tacoma LCA, and provided me with detailed dimensions of bushings. I took those dimensions and cross checked Kev's measurements posted in this thread where he said they would not fit and Kev's measurements were spot on.

    I like the poly whiteline's but I don't want fitment issues when installing...

    I will search Tor's thread.

    Thanks.

    Hey Crom. Yes that is my truck. I have not had any issues with the Whiteline bushings. I visually inspect them every other month when I hit the dirt. I had my buddy at a dealership install the bushings, he said that they were a pain and he had to use their heavy duty press.

    One thing I do remember about the Whiteline bushings is that the kit came with different size washers and sleeves. But the instructions were pretty good and gave specs on what went where. The kit I believe crosses over with the Prado?, but I'm not 100% on that anymore, it's been awhile.

    I'm actually in the process of upgrading to the TC 3.5" LT. I'll post up some pics of the bushings when I get around to pulling the parts off.

    Here's a pic that I found....

    Ignore the gold sleeves on the left. The whiteline kit came with the 6 silver sleeves and all those washers.

    Thanks for checking back in, much appreciated. :thumbsup:

    Since posting that I got in touch with Miles aka @Milowilli . He has built numerous trucks that he sends to the jungles of South America (Guyana Jungle). He has used the Whitelines successfully many times. I'll be buying the Whitelines in a few months.

    I bought the Mevotech lower control arm bushings pictured below. Pressed my old bushings out using the bottle jack and a little heat method. Everything came apart great. When I went to install the new bushings the larger mevotech bushing simply fell right into the control arm, required no pressing. I would recommend for anyone going this route to watch out for this issue.

    FWIW the Whitelines did not fit the arms on my 4R, they ended up getting crushed during install and rendered them useless.

    As an update, one of the MS86409 fit and the other didn't. The one that fit had a slight step in O.D. and I was able to press it in snugly.

    o_O All the reports in this thread... I'm going to be very scientific when it comes time to install and measure everything right out of the box.

    Thanks for your reports.

    That sucks! Sorry to hear that. I think I'm still going to try them in the Tacoma arms, but my refurbish project got kicked down the road...

    It did suck, a LOT of wasted effort, but I ended up with Dirt King arms as a results so win for me I guess, just not my bank account.
