Trust me, you do not want to read this whole thread. I can summarize it for you. Car wash damaged truck. Don't go to a carwash. Don't buy black trucks. Why not, I like them. OP's Damaged truck fixed. Don't buy black trucks. Why not, I like them. There, saved you about a half hour.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I'd usually play the old IBTL game, but this whole deal makes me want to actually request it be locked. Yeesh.

This was my old truck that I used a polisher with Adam's Polishes. That truck was 6 years old in that picture. Polisher and good products do wonders.

^^Proof that owning a truck with black paint doesn't doom one to a life of scratches and poor appearance.

I'm with you. I spent 23 years active duty Army Infantry. It was instilled into me as a kid and my years in the army. Always take care of your equipment. We are civilians now and but we will never be true civilians. A lot of people don't get what we did for a living and what makes us tick. For me, detailing is the best form of therapy from my post war issues. Detailing clears my head and makes me feel so much better.

23 year vet, too. Thanks for your service. I find washing, polishing, waxing, and even interior detailing to be relaxing and rewarding. I don't even feel like I'm working when I'm doing it.

And you Army Guys save our country's collective asses many times. I've often said, I have great respect for the Army and Marine Corps and especially the ones in the combat fields. My job was easy compared to many of theirs.

Not military here but I support commando.

Detailing is very theraputic. People think I'm nuts, but helps clear the mind. And the gratification from a job well done is awesome. Nothing like riding in a well polished vehicle...you just feel a since of pride.
