Does Sirius end on it's own or do they bill me?

I just got a huge letter from Sirius that says blah blah blah legal jargon and I can't figure out if they are going to terminate the service on March 16th, when it says the trial is over, or if they are going to start sending me bills for it. They know my truck and they obviously have my home address.

I don't want some recurring bullshit to my name. Do I need to call them or will they just terminate the service and never bill me? I haven't even used it. I like the music I want to hear, I don't want some service picking the music I get to listen to

Sirrus ends on its own. They will terminate service..You can call them and get a year for $80 but do NOT give them a credit card otherwise it is too hard to cancel.

Make them bill you and send them the money. Then cancel at the end of the term and you will get the best deal again. Personally I only call them for 3 months service when I am driving up north to visit relatives, otherwise I have all the music I need. I like the comedy channels when I'm on a long drive

It ends on its own. They won't bill you but they'll call and annoy you to no end. What finally stopped it for me was I told them if they could offer me $0 a month for the rest of my life, I would sign up. We couldn't come to an agreement and I haven't heard from them since.

Yep...ends on its own. In 2010 I paid $400 (in three payments) for a lifetime subscription. Luckily I was able to transfer it three times...but they said this would be the last time I could transfer unless my head unit crap out. They don't do transfers anymore... luckily I am a smooth talker.

They will offer 80 dollars for a whole year? The yearly deal is 185 bucks in the paperwork they sent me

At this point, I don't see how they're still in business. Must be for the sports and talk radio. One of the times they called me I actually took the time to speak with the lady and give her legitimate reasons why I didn't want to pay for yet another music service. Convo ended well, thought they had given up. I was wrong.

I think they can offer you whatever you haggle. One of my friends got a year for $75 and my co-worker got his renewed for $45 a year.

    It ends on its own.

Like someone said above they will call you and bother you non stop once it's over.
If you still want it you can usually knock them down on price.

When dealing with XM/Sirius always tell them the service is not worth the money. They will always give you a few free months to think about it. Milk it for as long as you can. When they do turn off the service. Call and get the best price you can. Never pay with your credit card or they will auto bill you forever at full price.

Thanks for the credit card advise. I don't pay many bills by check anymore so I would have charged it

Another easy alternative is to pay using a pre-paid Visa card. That way, you control how much $ is on the card. They can't take more than what is loaded on it.

I told them to cancel mine years back after they had my debit. When it ended guess what they charged me for a whole new year. Needless to say I don and won't use them. Although they constantly send me junk mail trying to get me back.

Why did they stop? I had lifetime on my other car and they told me to call at the end of the trial period (Feb 1) to transfer it to the taco. I have a printed copy of the live chat with the rep saying they will transfer it then. If it wasnt for having music I like I would drop this shit, I have it on 3 vehicles.

I don't waste my $$ on them, there is a ton of ways to get music content for free or very small $$ instead of those guys.
If they offered it for free , then ok , but to give them money ........?? no way.

Out of curiosity, the GPS and traffic on the map is due to the HD radio and SD card and not satellite right?

I am nearly through my 3-month free trial period.

This is my first exposure to Sirius XM, and I was appalled to find that there are commercials on a paid service. That's a deal breaker for me.
